Zainab Zeb Khan, president of Muslim American Leadership Alliance (MALA), shared with me a bit about her inspiring organization at the screening of "He Named Me Malala" held at GSU tonight thanks to MALA, the Malala Fund and World Affairs Council of Atlanta. "Personal stories are the catalyst for change. With MALA we have our doors open for the human condition so all stories, people from all walks of life, including philanthropic work. But when you tie in the human element and the human experience, that is not theological, that is not political, that it's just simply about being you...it really makes a difference."
