Last night I performed my first poetry mic! It was an awesome experience and a great vibe inside The Artist on City Island, BX. Much love to Elliot for hosting the event, the others who took the stage, the audience, and to my 💙 @alissa_bbp for motivating me to get up there. I recited pieces from both of my books, 'How Much is Self-Worth?: Ruminations of a Rented Slave' and 'Powerless Machine' along with a separate piece I published on @medium titled "Don't Be Gone Too Soon". There's something about the synchronicity between mathematics and life: every "4" year I reach a milestone as an artist. In '94 I started my first band. In '04 I embarked on my first full USA tour. In '14 I toured Europe for the first time, and now in '24 here's my spoken word debut.
