I had the book that I wrote for Aurora turned into an actual hardcover book using Vistaprint’s photo book option (it looks AMAZING). Today, she got to see it in that format for the first time and we had the best time going through it together and looking at all the pics. 🤍🌺What’s on my daily mind today? 🌺🤍 Well it’s teenagers that aren’t I’m own but I stood up to care for them with my mum because at the end of the day neither of us could do it alone because it’s to much pressure for one person, so we divide and conquer and as my mum works shift work 5am to 9am then 2pm to 6pm we have that time in between to do the housework or grocery shopping or shouting ourselves to breakfast or lunch out and spending some mum and daughter time without the teenagers while they are at school, I do have my own small business as a home baker but it’s slow and not earning enough so it’s stressful at times so this year I made the decision to go and at find a part time work to supplement my income to put towards more daily life and not just the grocery shopping & the other reason is I need to do it for my mental health to because with everything that goes on you can’t forget about you and looking after yourself. #selfcarematters🧘♀️ #mentalhealthawareness #raisingteenagersishard #auntielife #stressfulltimes #teenagers #nanlife #mydailymind

This year, I wrote a story for Aurora about our adventures together over the years and instead of illustrations, her copy is filled with photos of the two of us that I hope she will treasure forever!
