In this humidity and the back pad foam being the only thing gone it was much cooler yet handled the weight and felt just like home. Because the water was so low and trails difficult to navigate I decided to enjoy the stream hiking down till I found a place to crash. Kept it simple just tarp/poncho and sheet. Jetboil to purify water and cooked in an old pot on the fire Next morning on the way out via stream came across some beautiful residents. Some more terrifying than others. Tress were down but water was so low it didn't matter.
