I’m feeling this way most days. And today is even more awesome as I’ve just jogged 20 minutes in the park and so enjoying @beyonce Cowboy Carter album. . A more relaxing Sunday compared to previous weeks with a trip to the Farmers Market and a script to finish. Last week I was overcome with anxiety but after a day it went as I gave myself kindness and a good talking too. I approach projects I set for myself with an expectation to do my best and learn something new. And being proud of myself for taking risks and challenges. Sure it’s scary, but life is always changing so you gotta embrace it. Running .. well slow jogging one step at a time really helps me and my resolve. I don’t always get out but when I do I’m thankful. 10 years ago today, after 4.5 years of being together, Phil and I tied the knot on the beach with close family. 💍 (Español en el primer comentario) It was simple and cool and I wore a cheap dress, no shoes and my hair down. My engagement ring and our wedding rings are silver since I had to sell all my gold (mainly gifts from family) to pay rent when I was a single mom and did not want to ever wear gold again. Our “real” anniversary for me is in November of 2009 when we met and decided to give it a go. But our families and kids were very happy we were making it official. And well what the heck. Me too. 🤓 I would no longer have to say I was my stepson’s dad’s girlfriend to his teachers at school after that day. The kids wouldn’t have to say “my almost stepbrother” or “our parents are just dating” to their friends 🤪. Happy wedding anniversary to us and to our three children! It’s been a crazy wild ride so far with the ups and downs of parenting 3 very different kids. They’ve aged us a bit 😬 but we’re still standing!
