A diminishing pool of Americans are eligible to join the Army, Navy, or Air Force. An even smaller pool want to. What’s keeping young Americans from joining the military? Physical and emotional trauma are the most common reasons for not considering joining the military, according to a 2022 @deptofdefense poll of people ages 16-24.
