Se você é fã de folhas vai adorar algumas gigantes que eu cultivei ao longo da minha vida. A maioria tem origem na demonstração de carinho e admiração de amigos, foram presentes especiais. A maior de todas, a da Palmeira Talipot (Corypha umbraculifera) ganhei a muda com 30 cm de altura do amigo Paulo Costa do RJ. Filha das super Coryphas do Burle Marx. Plantei a mudinha na coleção botânica da metalúrgica Rudolph Usinados SA em Timbó, SC em 2006. As enormes Coccolobas (Coccoloba pubescens) consegui com o mestre Luís Bacher @dierberger.plantas , @luis_bacher em 2005, tbm plantei na coleção da Rudolph em 2004. A Orelha-de-elefante (Colocasia gigantea) ganhei 1 mudinha do amigo Sérgio David @cactos_brasil em 2008 e a gigantesca Taioba-gigante (Xanthossoma robustum) tbm veio do sítio do Burle Marx em 2007 (antigamente o sítio tinha uma área de venda de mudas, não sei se ainda tem). Márcia @malafaia lembra do nosso passeio e o seu esforço para a visita ? Já a vitória-régia (Victoria amazonica) ganhei de presente 1 mudinha do Harry Lorenzi @jardimbotanicoplantarum , @harrilorenzi e está plantada no jardim aquático do estúdio de gravação / escola de jardinagem da @spagnholplantas .
