Tracks days organisé par le musée en 2013 Lors de l'année 2013 Fabrice Bourrigaut ( directeur du musée) et ses associés ont décidé d'organiser une journée roulage des voitures du musée mais ils ont également invité des propriétaires afin d'apporter un plateau plus conséquent. Effectivement certaines voitures du musée même à l'époque étaient compliquées à remettre en marche ... Par conséquent sur ce roulage il y avait de très belles pièces ! Notamment la Porsche 917 lh portant le numéro de chassis #917045 appartenant au musée puis la Matra MS 670B, 1st Le Mans 1974 . Il y avait également une superbe McLaren f 1 gtr qui porte le nom de " César " grâce a sa décoration . Elle porte le numéro de chassis 05R qui fut homologué en 2012 par son propriétaire . Vous pouvez retrouver également une rarissime Porsche 917 K/81 il s'agit de la dernière 917 ayant courue l'épreuve mancelle . La rondeau gagnante de 1980 était également présente . Une Matra ms 650 était présente mais j'ignore son châssis pour le moment. Une jaguar xjr12 était présente ainsi qu'une Porsche 908/3 dont j'ignore son numéro de chassis. Une Ferrari 166 mm était présente également mais il ne s'agit pas la vraie gagnante de 1949 mais rassurez vous c'est tout de même un vrai chassis mais une redecoration . Richard Attwood signs with AB Memorabilia! We are pleased to announce that the 1970 Le Mans winner (and Porsche’s first Le Mans victory) has signed with AB Memorabilia. Richard shared the winning 1970 Porsche 917K with Hans Hermann in an epic race through heavy rain and competing against the other Porsche 917’s and Ferrari 512’s. The 1970 Le Mans would be the backdrop to Steve McQueen’s epic Hollywood movie with Richard also doubling for McQueen during the driving sequences of the movie which were filmed after the race. Not only was Richard one of the best sports prototype drivers he was also excellent in an F1 car, especially at Monaco finishing second to ‘Mr Monaco’ Graham Hill in 1968 and going on to set fastest lap! There are 3 issues of the German Auto sports magazine Rallye Racing. According to my dad, this was the best thing to read for that topic. Auto, Motor& Sport wasn't as nerdy, I reckon. It's issues November '71 and June+July '72. Great pics, great stories! Then there is a book by Rob Wiedenhof about the Rally Program of the DAF factory team. THAT Rob Wiedenhof, you ask? Yes, he was a racer himself. For example, he was at the Marathon de la Route in a team with Govert de Jong and Huub Vermeulen. Loads of storys and (not so many) pictures. And then there is the photo album. Many pictures, racing Zandvoort, rally. It starts in the early 70s but the last pictures must be newer: MK2 Capris and Ascona Bs. The pictures of the Porsche 917 are a interesting. The don't seem to come from the time when the car was really active. Some sort of histo race? Cuando se piensa en Porsche y en la competencia de Resistencia es difícil no ver al Porsche 917K inmediatamente. Sin embargo, y a pesar de su fama, se dice era un auto casi imposible de manejar. Un piloto de prueba lo describió como "una catastrofe". Lo cual hace aun más impresionante el camino de Pedro Rodríguez en 1970 y 1971 con Porsche. El llamado ‘Ojos de Gato’ por su habilidad para correr bajo la lluvia y en la noche, disputó 55 Grandes Premios de Fórmula Uno entre 1963 y 1971, período en el que obtuvo dos victorias y siete podios. En carreras de resistencia logró un triunfo en las 24 Horas de Le Mans, cuatro en las 24 Horas de Daytona (dos con Porsche) y 11 en el Campeonato Mundial de Marcas (ocho con el Porsche 917). Pedro parecía ser el tipo de piloto que prefería adaptarse a los problemas técnicos en lugar de tratar de resolverlos. In a testing race for all involved (including spectators ☔), the prototype only BOAC 1000kms - On This Day in 1970 - was almost a complete washout. Waterlogged electrics hampered most of the field, while a literal stream at Druids caused umpteen spinners; the standout drive came from JW Porsche's sublime Pedro Rodríguez, dancing through the spray and lapping the second placed car in under two hours. The Mexican was so impressive, the team gave co-driver Leo Kinnunen the bare minimum driving time! Even as conditions finally improved, the Rodríguez/Kinnunen Porsche 917K still won by FIVE laps. 🤯

nous sommes en 1971, toujours avec une Porsche 917, mais celle-ci n'est pas la K mais la LH. cette variante était déjà présente en 1970 et a pris la 2ème position cette année la. la 917 LH n°17 qui est présentée ici n'est pas une voiture victorieuse au 24h du Mans 1971 puisque l'édition a été également remporté par une 917 K avec un jeune pilote a son volant que les fan de Red Bull en F1 reconnaitrons puisqu'il s'agit d'Helmut Marko. Cette 917 LH n'a malheureusement pas finit la course après un abandon a 08h43 sur fuite d'huile. comme la 917k, elle est motorisée par un Flat 12 de 4907cc pour 600ch. avec une Vmoy de 245.387 km/h. elle était pilotée par Jo Siffert et Darek Bell. la seconde voiture et ses pilotes sont légendaires... et Français ! Nous sommes sur une voiture victorieuse en 1974 et quelle voiture ! Engagée par l'équipe Gitanes, il s'agit de la Matra Simca 670B propulsée par un v12 2993cc en position longitudinale centrale arrière 4 arbres a cames en tête il développe 490 chevaux à 10 500 tr/mn !! Il est couplé à une boîte de vitesses Porsche manuelle et la voiture ne pèse que 686 kg. en qualifications, son meilleur tour était en 03.35.800 avec une Vmoy de 227.544 km/h. en course, elle a parcouru 337 tours soit 4606.571 km avec un meilleur tour en 03.43.000 avec une Vmoy de 191.94 km/h et une Vmax de 323 km/h. Elle était pilotée par le duo iconique Henri Pescarolo - Gérard Larousse. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the Kremer team developed an updated Group 6 version of the 917, aiming for another victory at Le Mans. • With Porsche’s support, Kremer redesigned the 917-K81 to accommodate modern tire technology and aerodynamics, featuring a Kremer-built aluminum spaceframe chassis, advanced braking and suspension components, and revised bodywork for enhanced ground effect.
