Since we’ve spent today talking about sausage, in particular, Andouille this afternoon I thought I’d answer the question I often get. “How does an Idaho girl love Cajun food so much?” If you’ve ever traveled to the South, you wouldn’t have to ask that question. The food there is special. The spice & heat is a type that sincerely warms you from the inside out. The people, the cuisine, the music, the spirit of the South...it’s a beautiful thing. No one on the planet does "theming" like Disney. They just don't. It goes far beyond the grounds, the characters, the parks and the resort rooms. The food...oh man! Some of the BEST Cajun food we had in the South actually came from Disney's Port Orleans Resort. Not even kidding. I'd stay there again just for the food. Beignets are a go to snack for us in Disneyland. The first time we went to Walt Disney World we were sad to not find beignets in the parks.
