I Declare War!!! Last evening, I shared with the ladies at the Kencot Christian Fellowship Church on the theme: 'War Room Strategies.' I had forgotten how much I love to talk about Prayer, how excited I am about women digging deeper and deeper in warfare. I had also forgotten how 'dirty' satan fights...and I would be reminded. Just mere hours after presenting under the anointing of the Holy Spirit the enemy attacked us in the most brutal way. In the midst of the chaos, the Lord reminded me of the following: 1. His promise to me (December 2023) that I will S.O.A.R in 2024 and no demon from the pit of hell will stop or curtail His promise. 2. As I Unleashed my faith, I would be tested but I am more than a Conqueror. 3. The devil's desire is to sift me like wheat but He will not succeed. 4. The weapon of my warfare is not carnal but is mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds. 5. The enemy can touch me only as much as God allows him to. 6. David began this Psalm with a resolution to extol God. Then after giving all the reasons he has determined to extol God, he ends the Psalm with the same resolution and calls on all people to join him. The ultimate purpose of life is to extol, magnify and glorify God. When we choose this as our life purpose, we know what to do in severe trial, or in abundant blessing. No matter what happens, we have already determined that we are on a mission to extol God. Paul said my eager expectation and hope is that Christ will be exalted in my body, whether I live or I die! When we vow to extol God, it solves the problem of disappointment, death, and disaster, it means nothing in life can keep us from this purpose! If our purpose is to have perfect circumstances, perfect safety, financial security, a perfect marriage, perfect children and perfect career, things can happen that ruin those goals, and make us constantly disappointed, scared, and self absorbed. However, when our goal is to magnify God, we can do that no matter what happens! Our lives become simpler and clear, and we know why we are here.
