BREAKING: Police name victim whose torso was found in Kersal Dale as 67-year-old Stuart Everett 💔 GMP’s Major Incident Team have named the victim whose torso was found in a Salford nature reserve, saying they believe it to be Stuart Everett, who resided in the local area. Specially trained Family Liaison Officers are currently supporting Stuart’s family during this incredibly difficult time. According to GMP, the investigation has rapidly progressed over the last three days, with officers still deployed in the local area to recover more evidence and build a fuller picture of the circumstances that led to the victim’s death. The remains found at the other three locations in Salford are still to be tested, but police say they are confident they belong to the same victim. Michal Jaroslaw Polchowski (25/04/1956) and Marcin Majerkiewicz (10/04/1982) both of Worsley Road, Eccles, have been charged with murder. They are due to appear at Manchester Crown Court this morning, Tuesday April 30th. Detective Superintendent Lewis Hughes from GMP’s Serious Crime Division, said: “My thoughts and the thoughts of officers and staff across Greater Manchester Police are with Stuart’s family at this traumatic time. Family Liaison Officers are supporting them through each update in our investigation. BREAKING: Two men have now been charged with murder, following the discovery of a human torso in Kersal Dale. As well as that, more suspected human remains were also discovered this morning, Monday April 29th, in an alleyway close to the railway lines off Worsley Road, Eccles. This follows earlier discoveries of human remains over the past three weeks, at Kersal Dale, Blackleach Reservoir and Colliery Wood, all in Salford. Michal Jaroslaw Polchowski (25/04/1956) and Marcin Majerkiewicz (10/04/1982) both of Worsley Road, Eccles, have been charged with murder. They are set to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court this afternoon. While formal identification is still ongoing, the remains found at Kersal Dale are believed to be of a local man in his 60s.
