Had my photo taken by @ericretterbush and his tintype camera. I’m OBSESSED with the result. Something about the camera, the process, the end result really makes this photograph feel like a frozen moment in history. My personal history. Tintype is an old form of photography where an image is applied directly to a piece of metal, then coated with a lacquer or enamel. Eric has lenses from the 1800s! You’ll notice that the image is actually mirrored left to right from what you’d see if a modern camera was used. Plus, when you look through the lens of the tintype camera, I was flipped upside down. The process was really interesting to watch! This is a digital scan of the actual tintype, I’ll be getting the metal piece in the mail soon. Can’t wait!

Last year @lowbrowcustoms hooked me up with one of their @panamoils 20W-50 oil change kits for Evo Sportsters! I was planning on using the kit for my Happy Valley Rally offroad Sportster but when @topendmagazine stopped in on his trip from Florida to Maine and back, I figured it would be best to hook a homie up with a free (much needed) oil change! Ever put your bike on a ferry?! Here’s my KZP getting ready to cross Lake Michigan on the Lake Express high speed ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon! Each bike had to be strapped down at 4 points and the ferry had an arsenal of ratchet straps hanging from the wall. We set sail at 6:00am and it took 2.5 hours to get over to Michigan, then made the 400 mile trip over to Toronto! 🇨🇦 I couldn’t wait to get across the Canadian border in hopes of a major scenery change but didn’t realize it would be Minnesota 2.0 up until I hit the city. 🤣 Casa Loma was pretty rad to see in person especially after catching it in so many movies! 🎥 #chickenfriedchoppers #kz1000p #lakemichigan #canada
