"For the things we love, we give everything we've got until there's nothing left to give." -@kayleenortiz _ This monster number required so much of me. So much, that I had to give all of me. I wasn't strong enough, I haven't got my inverts, I didn't have the endurance to finish not even half the number. During the first month of training, I considered quitting because I felt that I wasn't ready. I felt that me, being in the intermediate class, was a mistake. Next year maybe. But my teacher said to just give it a try. And if you know who my teacher is, I know what she meant when she said, 'try'. For the next weeks leading to Stellar, I have been training nonstop for this number. Reviewing all the sticky parts and listening to the music until it's stuck in my head even in my sleep.😅 I have trained like I've never trained before. One of the best decisions I did in this process was to focus on a single goal and to put all distractions on mute. There was no time to complain, no time to compare myself with others, no time to doubt. I chose to acknowledge my weakness and work on them until I nail every single trick. During the performance, my proudest moment was getting off my silks and walking towards our final pose. Because I made it. I finally did.🌟 _ Also, I would like to thank @maridolyabut for training with me. Thank you for believing with me that we can do it. And we did. Thank you also for the seester for challenging my goals and training me so I could make it to the stage with the rest of the #silksarmy.😍 Next year ulit for sure.🤩 _ PS: I love how our nebula costume glows under the lights.🤩 We painted that!
