I haven’t worked on this thing in a while, but I finally made some progress over the weekend on the EG! We’ve been working all of last year to climb the HPDE ladder with @nasagreatlakes and this March, we’re headed to Comp School at NCM! The first of a few safety items needed in the car is fire suppression! Honestly, something that I should’ve had a long time ago… It took a while because all I did was stare at the car, contemplating the best way to route the tubing lol. I guess my OCD gets the best of me sometimes, but I got the main part done. I still need to disassemble everything and run the fireproof sleeving over all the lines and seal them off with heat shrink. Secondly, I need to run the secondary pull cable to the passenger side B-pillar. I have two nozzles pointed at my feet and midriff then three nozzles in the bay. Two of those are pointed at the back of the motor where most of the fuel system is and the third pointed right at the header. 365 calendar days seems like a huge amount of time to play with, but as you grow older, those times go by too fast! You hold onto unforgettable moments that became highlights for the year. Repeating a summer road trip with @aimsxiong AND realizing age is not just a number anymore! My fatigue has definitely increased and become more frequent. If I have to choose from my 8 sets of wheels, which I like best, hands down, ✋️ it'll be the Desmond Regamaster Marquis Promada edition. My first and my last. I acquired the wheels when it was listed for sale on FB marketplace for the longest time. I didn't even get my S2000 until a month later. Then, I knew, it was probably meant for me! LOL! They just so happened to be in the right size and specs! Luck must have been at my side. The wheels had the perfect fit, lip, and depth to compliment the roadster chassis very well. No rubs nor chassis contact, just rolls nice and easy on the road!
