Actrice in de kijker Michaela Conlin is een Amerikaanse actrice. Ze speelde de rol van Angela Montenegro in het Fox-misdaadprocedurele komediedrama Bones van 2005 tot 2017. Ze speelde ook terugkerende rollen in de Paramount-serie Yellowstone (2018-2019) en de Apple TV+-serie For All Mankind (2021). Na haar afstuderen aan de New York University werd Conlin geselecteerd om deel uit te maken van de kabeldocumentaireserie The It Factor, die zich concentreerde op de levens van jonge acteurs in New York City. Hey, y'all! Tonight we watched 2016's not film of the year, The Disappointments Room. If confusing was a genre, this 86 minute film would be top of the class. Since it isn't a genre, this movie seems to be missing critical scenes and information that would smooth out the rough edges. We both agreed that this movie didn't deserve so much hate. It scored 0% and 17% Tomameter ratings for critic and audience reviews respectively. Given the subject nature, the confusion almost makes sense. Commonly, people dislike feeling confused, I believe that lead to the poor ratings. I would love to read a book adaptation of the film to explain it a little better! If you have nothing else to do and don't mind feeling confused, we suggest giving it a watch for no other reason than to argue with us in the comments below! This weeks viewings.... @65movie @nopemovie @disappointmentsroom and #clay2008 65 (2023)- Starring #adamdriver and @ariana_greenblatt this Sci-Fi Action Thriller, works really hard to keep viewers on their toes. The visual effects are stunning, the casting perfect (and I'll be honest I haven't been a fan of Driver in the past) and the warmth between our two main characters is believable. The story itself flows well and enjoyable. And I found myself happily viewing this film. In cinemas now. NOPE(2022)- Starring @danielkaluuya @keke palmer @steveyeun and @brandonperea this film surprisingly was better than I anticipated! Though I did like (not love) @jordanpeele prior films @getoutmovie and @usmovie , I actually preferred NOPE. It is a very odd film with mingling stories from the past and present, but each has a relevance. It has a great cast. Personally I could watch Kaluuya in ANYTHING (and have done since his days on The Fades). Palmer plays her character impressively well with ease, and Yeun and Perea provide relief from the star duo, with great talent and timing. Peele's abilities are definitely emerging strongly. Available on dvd/bluray and on @amazonprime THE DISAPPOINTMENTS ROOM(2016)- @katebeckinsale headlines this film and though I enjoyed it, it wasn't the greatest use of her acting talents to me. Beckinsale gives her all convincingly, but the plot stalls in parts and the co stars lack the same abilities on screen. It didn't disappointment me, but I wasn't impressed by this film. Available on dvd/bluray and on Amazon Prime. CLAY(2008)- Starring Harry McEntire, Ben-Ryan Davies and Imelda Staunton, this 2008 offering of a Golem like film with alter boys, mental health and strange characters entwined, is quite good. It's simple, with rich characters. It has a brilliant British cast and it may seem slow, but its charm helps you forgive it for that.
