Second film last night was... Kolobos (1999) Five young individuals agree to live in an isolated lodge together and have their daily activities filmed. But soon the house is locked down and they each run into the murderous clutches of a faceless serial killer who may not be working alone. I'm on the fence here... The acting of the characters in the house was gratingly bad and I hated every single one of there poorly put together stereotypes but as a horror fan they did all die wonderfully. Единственный фильм о маньяках, который хочется пересматривать не один раз. В финале мы получаем очень крепкую и кровавую социальную драму, оставившую зрителя наедине не с ужасом, а с раздумьями. Фильм просто замечательный. И действительно соответствует своему оригинальному названию "Высокое напряжение". Have you seen this movie? What did you think about it? What was your favorite scene? This movie is so stupid: killer hand, getting stoned majority of the time & too many one liners…. I loved it so much 😍 😆 This is the most 90’s cheesy camp horror I’ve ever seen. From the witty one liners, to the amazing kills & creative ideas, this movie has a good mixture of comedic timing, horror elements & great music. This movie doesn’t take itself serious & has fun with what they’re working with and leans into it which makes this movie really great. I just wish I would’ve been high watching this for my first time. Definitely has rewatch value & a good all star cast. There’s a specific scene when the gang is on the couch listening to Dragula by Rob Zombie while Anton is knitting that just screamed “THIS IS ME” 🤣 Also, I just know Mick had the hots for Pnub with how jealous he was of Pnub hitting it off with someone lol Also, that finger sharpener was so cuntyyy 😂 Final thoughts: Mick rising from the dead whilst covered in dirt was so hot 🥵 Letterboxd Review: 4.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
