Happy Easter Weekend to everyone!!!!! I had a three day weekend so I took advantage of the weather (not super warm but no rain or snow), and got some errands done! 🐇went Easter basket shopping for hubby and dog! 🐣 Had a waxing appointment while my mom got her hair done and grabbed a juice from the yoga studio next door! 🐇 Made epcots Violet Lemonade (non alcoholic) for an Easter drink 🐣 Went to Church with my dad so he wouldn’t be alone 🐇 Had Easter Dinner as a family and it was yummy! Let’s travel around the world under the cover of night!!! One of my favorite things to do at Epcot is slowly mosey on out of the parks after the fireworks, taking in the music and the ambiance of world showcase as the park says good night. It is such a peaceful way to let some of the crowds rush out and get some cool photos and also if you are using Disney transportation it gives it a bit to slow down before you head to the bus stop or the monorail. ✨2024 @magicalparkvacations team retreat weekend!! ✨ Last weekend I got to spend the weekend with our team down at Walt Disney World! Of course we start by going under those beautiful Disney World gates! On my first night Magic Kingdom was open until 1:00am so we took advantage of the lower crowds. This benefit was only available to Deluxe Resort Guests! From just 9-1, I ate at Casey’s Corner, rode Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and the People Mover! Headed back to Saratoga around 1:30. Day 2 started with Breakfast at Topolinos (my favorite on property) was spent exploring Epcot and Magic kingdom!! Spent the day drinking around the world with my teammates, then we headed over to Magic Kingdom to watch Happily Ever After!!! It was magical! Then we headed to our Cabin at Fort Wilderness, and ordered Dominos. Day 3: the morning was spent touring resorts, we saw Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk Inn and Rivera Resort! These incredible deluxe resorts are close the parks and have tons of accommodation options. After that we went back to our cabin and rested! Then it was time to get gussied up, and head out to our MPV awards and Training! We got to honor the top agents and our MVP! We ended the night at Topolinos and watching Luminous from the terrace! Day 4: the day began with the MPv scavenger hunt!!! (Our team won btw)! We ran around Magic Kingdom to find the clues and have some team fun! Afterward we headed to Epcot and got our Conga on, on Guardians of the Galaxy and ended the night with some Fish and Chips and a front row seat to Luminous which is one of my favorite new nighttime shows at WDW! Day 5, was time to say goodbye and head back home! It was such an incredible weekend, so much fun and love and it makes me so happy to be able to spend time with the MPV team!!! 🚗🚙 Transportation Tip 🚙🚗 As a travel agent my job is to experience things that help my clients have a truly wonderful trip. So as I head back to the airport this is one tip that I have for my families traveling to Walt Disney World. Budget in upgraded transportation from and to the airport. My personal favorites are @happylimousine and @awaywegotransportation. This trip I decided to save some money and booked through a well known transportation shuttle company, and while the motorcoach is very comfortable, if you fly an airline that has baggage claim in terminal A, be prepared to have to lug that baggage across the airport to terminal B. That can be daunting for a large family. Also private car service is more organized and personal. On the pick up, this shuttle service called me at 9:30 asking me why I hadn’t boarded a shuttle yet, when my boarding time on the pass said 10:15. They then marked me as a no-show…thankfully they still showed up on time, but he had said he almost didn’t. They are not subtle on their communications…. On the communication radio, guests can hear everything….and I mean everything. They are not always mindful of what they say, and children are always listening. Hot take from Travel Agent perspective! Not all popular or brand new restaurants are worth the hype or the fight to snag a hard to get reservation! For me that hot take right now specifically refers to Space 220. My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5. The food was just okay. The drinks were great and the atmosphere and theming were awesome! We tried the lounge items, deviled eggs, calamari, tostada and a Cesar salad… most of the food was bland or over cooked. I thought the deviled eggs were good! You know it’s okay to love who you are even if you are not where you want to be. I have heard so many fatphobic comments this week, whether it be on TikTok or even here in the parks this week, it’s pretty disheartening to hear how unaccepting and cruel people are when it comes to fat people. Fat isn’t a bad word. It is a way to describe oneself. I am fat…that isn’t inherently bad. There are worse things I could be. So if you are ever discouraged remember who you are, and know you are a bad ass! You don’t have to be any type of way to be amazing! Hope y’all have a magical night and remember who you are! ❤️

Happy Monday!!! Here is to hoping you are one day closer to your next Disney trip!!! Let’s spotlight being plus size at Disney! As a travel planner that specializes in Disney Destinations and a member of the Plus Size community, there are some things you can do to make your trip more comfortable! ✨ Get a misting fan! I know I tend to overheat very easily and the misting fan combine with a cooling towel were life savers! ✨ body glide! Get alllll the friction sticks, it can help with the dreaded chub rub, blisters, under b00b sweat and more! ✨Along those same lines, if you are a skirt girlie like I am, invest in quality bike shorts and athletic skorts! You can put together super cute outfits and not have to worry about chafing! ✨ No matter HOW much a pair of cute shoes might go with your outfit, wear comfortable shoes to the parks! If you want photos bring your cute shoes in your backpack… and wear comfy shoes to walk around the parks! I recommend @brooksrunning or @hoka, they are both amazing for the parks! ✨ bring your self confidence! Being plus size is not something to be ashamed of! Take the cute park photos, ride the rides and most of all have so much fun! A couple of other tips, from a size 22, 5’6” plus size gal! 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Goofy’s coaster over in storybook circus were a little tight for bigger people, but most everything else was pretty comfortable. For me I did fit on flights of passage but that can be sometimes not plus friendly and I cannot speak for Tron yet at this time as I haven’t had the opportunity to personally ride it. all in all Disney is VERY plus size friendly and you will be able to do most of what you want without having to worry or be embarrassed! The last time I stopped into Zuri’s Sweet Shop in Animal Kingdom, and asked the cast member behind the bakery case what their favorite was, I got a surprising answer. The only way out is up! I am on the struggle bus lately. I’ve been in some weird funk since early last week. I’m feeling very off, not physically just mentally. I’m feeling not supported, a little bit alienated, and a bit discouraged. I am not looking for pity. I am just putting out there how I feel as somebody who is just getting off the ground. Sometimes when you follow your dreams, you hit some hurdles along the way! But I’m going to NYC with my girlies in just over 24 hours and we’re seeing @joshgroban in Sweeney Todd, going to the Disney Store at Times Square, doing a skyscraper and capping the weekend off with Taylor Swift!
