The Poola Blossom Slush has the consistency of blue or green milk, topped with cold brew. This is completely vegan as the slush is a plant-based ube-flavored horchata slush. #WeekendWIP - Finished a little model build this weekend! We loved the Outpost Mix on Batuu so why not bring some home? I kit-bashed some greeblie bits and finally found a use for a portion of the egg carton I’ve been saving for ages now. Life Day was Nov. 17 but these dishes are available through Jan. 9 (except sporks which are while supplies last!). Also included — some non-Life Day dishes. I was THRILLED that every Life Day dish was vegetarian (as are the others here). SO many great vegetarian offerings on Batuu West. Please Disney give us some of these at Walt Disney World! 🧀Cheesy Blue Orbs at Ronto Roasters — a bit like Brazilian cheese bread but more bread-y and crumbly, less gooey/cheesy than traditional pão de queijo. The “blue cheese” is Parmesan, not blue cheese. 🍴Life Day Spork at Docking Bay 7 (limit 2 per guest per transaction while supplies last). 🥐Life Day Cheese Branch at Kat Saka’s Kettle — my favorite. The crispy melted cheese around the edges was 🤌🤌🤌. 🥤Poola Blossom Slush — Plant-based Ube-flavored Horchata, topped with Cold Brew. This one was a bit too sweet for me. The spiced cinnamon flavor made it taste festive and seasonal (though I know horchata is a year-round drink and this one’s been around since August — not a Life Day drink). 🍹Joh Blastoh Sangria Gocola at Oga’s Cantina — only had a sip. Not for Life Day — they’ve had versions of this for a long time but with varying dipping sauces. Ran into General Hera Syndulla & Chopper while visiting Batuu! 🚀 I love character meet and greets, and today I was lucky to see both General Hera Syndulla and Chopper walking around! Also while in Batuu we tried the new drink Poola Blossom Slush, from Kat Saka’s Kettle. The drink is a Plant-based Ube-flavored Horchata, topped with Cold Brew. I personally don’t like coffee, so I asked without, but either way this extremely purple drink was delicious! A few new additions to Galaxy's Edge: Ahsoka and a new slush! We were lucky enough to see Ahsoka walking around and were able to grab a photo with her! Since she is still a fairly new character, we were surprised at how easy it was to grab a photo. We saw her walk past us so I called out, "Ahsoka!" and when she turned around I asked her for a photo. Meanwhile, Chewie and Rey were crowded with folks asking for photos. It could be that Ahsoka isn't very recognizable to most folks just yet. I imagine that most visitors to Batuu are at least somewhat familiar with the movies but haven't watched Clone Wars or Rebels, so their first introduction to Ahsoka is the new Disney+ show. Perhaps in the future she'll gain more popularity and recognition to the more casual fans. 🤔 Another fun discovery was the new Poola Blossom Slush at Kat Saka's Kettle! This was a plant based ube-flavored horchata topped with cold brew. We loved the fact that it was a slush, which meant no ice. Let’s talk about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge snacks of the liquid variety! The most popular of course are blue milk and green milk. Personally I’m team blue milk 🙋🏼‍♂️. On my most recent trip to Hollywood Studios the kids stuck with their milk of choice while I opted to try their “space drink” that doesn’t seem to get quite as much love as their milks…the Cold Brew Black Caf from Kat Saka’s Kettle☕️ 😋 This is an iced Joffrey’s cold brew coffee, topped with sweet cream cheese and chocolate puffs! When I was there they were topping it with chocolate Rice Krispies. 🍫 My recommendation is to give it a good stir. It really enhances the flavors when the cold brew and sweet cream were mixed! Magic Monday’s begin with at-home Kat Saka’s Cold Brew Black Caf (unfortunately without the Cocoa Puffs, but fortunately featuring @rookcoffee amazing Cinnamon Vanilla cold brew - please bring this back!).
