a year ago today, the whole process officially started for me! ✨️ I'd got into the habit of checking the Yummy Jobs website every few days, and the morning of Friday 28th April I happened to see the announcement for 2024 applications before it had been posted on social media! this caught me off guard completely as I hadn't expected to need my cover letter ready until closer to June or July, and I was heading off that weekend to hike Snowdon with my family! (pictures featured) 🏔 I messaged @stephsgotadream in a panic (fun fact, we met in a @yummyjobs comment section a couple of months prior) and we were both freaking out! this was something I'd dreamed of for so long and it was finally happening! and the rest, as they say, is history... Essa semana recebi o pin comemorativo de primeiro ano na minha location! É o Steamboat Willy, o primeiro desenho em que o Mickey aparece, de 1928. A cada marco comemorando anos de serviço o personagem muda, e com o tempo o cast member vai ganhando mais vantagens e privilégios na empresa. Walt Disney dizia que “são necessárias pessoas para transformar sonho em realidade." E a empresa o tempo todo comunica gratidão e valoriza nosso trabalho através de pequenos gestos. Os guests me perguntam se eu gosto de trabalhar ali. Eu amo! Eu volto no tempo e me sinto realizando um sonho junto com cada família animada que vejo chegando ao meu parque preferido da Disney! Cette reconnaissance célèbre ses 35 ans de passion et de créativité au sein de Walt Disney Imagineering, notamment son travail sur les intérieurs des parcs. Sa fenêtre, au-dessus de Ribbons and Bows Hat Shop, illustre trois décennies de son travail et porte la mention « New Century Interiors, Sylvie Massara, Proprietor, “All-time designs for all times” ». Sylvie a débuté sa carrière lors de la construction de Disneyland Paris en 1988 et a depuis joué un rôle essentiel dans la conception et la rénovation des hôtels de la destination.
