Here are some Animal Kingdom treats I recommend trying on your next visit! First is the HUGE Cinnamon Bun from Isle of Java, located right next to Flame Tree BBQ. On the left before the bridge to head to Dinoland Second is the Buffalo Chicken Chips from Trill-O-Bites. On the right as you are about to enter Dinoland The third is at the famed Nomad Lounge (which also has great bread service and cocktails as well). These cuban sliders were super tasty, and who doesn't like Yucca fries!? Located next to Tiffins on the right before the bridge to Pandora. Get there early as there is usually a wait for walk up. The forth snack we tried yesterday is an absolute staple. Mr. Kamal's chicken dumplings and seasoned fries. It’s Magical Monday! On our most recent trip to Disney World, we completed the 4 park challenge. Our first stop was Animal Kingdom. Rope dropping this park is the way to go! After relaxing for the whole of Thursday afternoon at #KidaniVillage , we spent an absolutely sublime evening at #disneysanimalkingdom We started off by spending some time with my favorite park icon, the #TreeOfLife and found some new carvings I'd not seen before. No matter how many times I wander around that beautiful tree I find something new! It's amazing! We rode #ExpeditionEverest, caught a little bit of #KiteTails , had a snack of seasoned fries from #mrkamals , visited the animals on the #GorillaFallsTrail and then went on one of the best safaris we have ever had. At that time of day, within 30 minutes of #KilimanjaroSafari closing, there was no line at all. The air was cool and dry and the sun was setting. It was breathtaking and the animals were so active!! It was one of the nicest times I've had at my favorite park. So relaxed and casual, and the crowds dwindling minute by minute. Feeling snacky in Animal Kingdom today so we stopped at Mr. Kamal’s for the very first time. The Teen ordered these AMAZING Seasoned Fries served with two dipping sauces - Korean Chili Ketchup and Curried Honey Mustard. The fries alone were bursting with seasoned flavor. It's been a while since I posted anything about the food and drinks I've recently tried. So I'm going to do a random Disney food and drink Photo Dump here and do a quick review on them. 🍕 1. Chicken Dumplings(Mr Kamal's) - My new favorite food to get there if I want something small 🍗 2. S'more's Donut(Everglades) - Biggest donut I have ever ate! 🍩 3. Coke Float(Plaza Ice Cream Parlor) - The one at my local beach Ice Cream Parlor is better then Disney's 🍨 4. Wild Toad Brat Burger(Friar's Nook) - Don't like the olives but I did like how they made this burger fun to eat 🍔 5. Wild Ride(Friar's Nook) - Love the drink but not the licorice that came with it 🍧 6. I have been hearing about these fries for years, and finally got a chance to try them on my most recent visit to Animal Kingdom. Found at Mr. Kamal’s, these are the Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries. They are served with Curried Honey Mustard or Korean Chili Ketchup, but I was given both (do you like my hidden Mickey? haha). These are a twist from the original ones prior to this location reopening. I did quite enjoy these, but I think I would have enjoyed the older version with sriracha and tzatziki more. I didn’t care for the dipping containers and would have preferred for the fries to be topped with the sauces. Overall these had a nice kick, but not too spicy. I’d definitely recommend or get these again. And to drink, I grabbed this at Thirsty River Bar. This is the Khumbu Icefall: Cruzan Guava Rum blended with Coconut and Raspberry Pureé. This was a nice frozen drink. Definitely good for a hot day.
