Master P - The Ghettos Tryin To Kill Me - No Limit Records 1994, Richmond California OG Tape & CD I've been seeing alot of classic Bay Area albums and underground South albums being re-released whether on CD or vinyl, one those recently being the RTD - The Day I Wanted To Die that was originally a tape only release. Well it had me thinking if there is a album that needs another release CD or vinyl it ought to be this classic that Master P gives on his third album back from 1994. But the release I think shouldn't be like the 1997 one, but infact the original one from 1994 with perhaps maybe *if any* some unreleased songs from back in that time? Yes we know P is from New Orleans, born & raised. But you can't lie or deny the work and time he did put in the Bay with classics like this album, 99 Ways To Die, West Coast Bad Boyz etc etc. I love his work back when he did go back home as well, but his time in the Bay is really some of my favorite music from him. Infact his deal with Priority was made while he was still repping Richmond so that let's you know he was signed along just because they thought he was West Coast artist. 24 YEARS AGO TODAY MP Da Last Don is the seventh studio album by American rapper Master P. It was released by No Limit Records, Priority Records and EMI. It originally debuted at number 112 on the Billboard Top 200 chart as several stores sold the album before its official release, but then it peaked at number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart, selling 495,000 copies in the first official week.[5] It gained mixed reviews.
