✨REHABILITATION💫 Sir Dennis the Menace, a beautiful warmblood foal with a very bright future, was born with a crooked leg. At one month of age, vet exam and X-ray revealed 15° angle in his right knee. The vet recommended stall rest and corrective surgery was scheduled for Dennis at two months of age. In July of 2023, with veterinarian approval, we started Dennis on our rehabilitation program and treated him 5 days a week for 4 weeks. Zde bych ráda uvedla na pravou míru, že ačkoliv se vám to může zdát divné, nevstupuji do terapií se záměrem a cílem vyléčení a směřování léčivé energie do míst, o kterých mi majitel řekne, že jsou nemocná a potřebují vyléčení. Při terapiích naslouchám zvířeti. Naslouchám příběhům, které semnou sdílejí. Nemoc zvířete má vždy svůj důvod a také původ. Pokud se vás zvíře svou nemocí snaží něco naučit, snaží se vám poukázat na to, co je potřeba si ve svém životě uvědomit a změnit, pak dokud si to neuvědomíte a nezměníte, nemůžete po zvířeti požadovat, aby se uzdravilo. Protože jeho poslání by nebylo dle jeho pohledu naplněno. Proto vám při terapiích zprostředkovávám témata, na která zvířata upozorňují a poukazují. Proto se věnuji i vám, protože vy jste nedílnou a důležitou součástí celého procesu léčení. Tím, že zvířata vidí hluboko do nás samých, nelze je slovy oklamat. Zvířata ví, kdy svá slova myslíte upřímně a jdete je proměnit v činy. A ne jen proto, aby se vaše zvíře uzdravilo nebo proto, že vám to někdo řekl. Ale že vy sami pro sebe chcete žít takový život, jaký si v hloubi sebe přejete. Proto vám průběh celé terapie a komunikace se zvířetem shrnuji do e-mailu. 🐾Meet Major🐾 Major came to IPC after tearing his CCL (cranial cruciate ligament, similar to an ACL in humans). He had a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) performed at Purdue Veterinary Hospital. The TPLO surgery stabilizes the stifle joint and reduces the amount that the tibia shifts forward when the patient walks. With slow introductions and positive reinforcement, Indy has done a great job warming up to us! Meet Larry🌟 He started coming to IPC for rehab at the beginning of June after he had a L1-L2 hemilaminectomy. When we first saw Larry he needed assistance walking with a sling because he was very weak in his back legs and would lose control and fall over. His treatment plan included laser therapy, Assisi mat, land exercises, underwater treadmill, and home exercises. With lots of hard work and dedication Larry has shown great improvement! His family has been so dedicated to helping him improve and we are so glad we have been able to be a part of his journey!!
