The #highlight of the year have been the FUNGI CARAVAN with the Fungi Exhibition ! It is the third year that we join @trailerparklatitude at @latitudefest. The two first years have been suffering of #technical and #logistical struggle. The first year have been the luck of the beginer. Everything went smooth with a lovely team but we didn't make money. The second year have been the bad luck of the beginer. Everything wich could go wrong, went wrong... but we made a descent amount of money. We could even paid slightly the team wich suffer from our bad organisation and technical problems happening non stop... So this year we double down the preparation for it. If this year we would not succeed in all level, we would stop hurting each other for a bussiness not working. We had a month with #training the team with printing the exhibition and some instruction boards. We mainly work on our presentation ! We finally nail it properly ! The 4m large #mushroomhead could be spot on from all #direction ! The #fluorescent #exhibtion was to the point It was the first year that we were at the same level of visual quality that our surounding caravans instalations ! Last years, we were just an #activity... Now we have a #visualidentity and our team is getting there ! But that is a story for another post ! COME TO PRINT YOUR OWN DESIGN ON FESTIVALS WEAR YOUR OWN CREATION ! We were in @latitudefest in @trailerparklatitude last year where we could test this set up : offering you the possibility to #print #quickly a design of your own conception, to wear your #inspiration for the rest of the #festival and back home. But #screenprinting is not a quick process. That was our main #challenge : -Focus on the experiences of the #fun of printing and the #magic of wearing your own design for the participant -Hide and improve all the #longpreparation by our working team Focusing on the fun was a total success ! People were happy, motivated and gave us amazing feedbacks ! Children were amazed. Youngsters were curious and Adults inspired ! We were #victimofoursuccess. We attracted a lot of people and have been #fullybooked for the rest of the festivals in only two hour! We were #surprised and super #busy That is why even if we managed and get better day after days, we still need to #improve organisation! And we can! And we will! And now we know how with this full studio set up! Here our #festivalsetup ! We are finally the #movingworkshop we always aimed to be ! COME TO PRINT YOUR OWN DESIGN INSPIRED BY THE FESTIVAL. When you come to BOOK your 30 min slot to PRINT your OWN DESIGN, we give you PAPER and transparent ACETATE. We use it to TRANSFER your drawing on the FRAME you will be using as a re-usable STENCIL ! You will practice on paper for FREE, that we can FRAMED! You will choose a T-SHIRT or/and TOTE BAG to print on it and wear your design during the festival to your way back home! We will have fixed design if you want to print design by our team of artists! We have a chilling area where we exhibit the design of people and set up a WALL OF EXPRESSION. There are tables and chairs to have an inspiring and quiet moment to draw and express there if you want! We really started from the begining! We were busy being harshly evicted from one of the best occupation we had, just the week before! We lost the access of a year of skipped material stored in this squat. It was a #treasure put on a side for this precise moment, to build the #festivalstand and just when we needed it, we lost access to it... We were thinking we couldn't make it to @trailerparklatitude at @latitudefest But with no home, no plans, you let yourself go with the wind and wonder happens! We had 5 days to be ready. We couldn't plan ahead properly so it was slow and long set and building up! What a great way to end @latitudefest with a discovery of @thescribes in the @trailerparklatitude. Although l’m probably not their immediate demographic and I knows nothing about them before tonight but the ‘QuillEquipped’ lads smashed it and were a real highlight with a set of joy, verve, style and energy in an evening mediocrity - fabulous word craft and free styling.
