Meet Pssamas, she loves singing Cyndi Lauper songs and will become a crucial part of Erik's quest, and she will later become president, but that's a long way in the future. When Erik first encounters her she is living in an Ikea-esque department store, isn't that everyone's dream?? 💭 "Pssamas hopped down from her bunk bed nest and Erik and Pssamas bowed and greeted in the traditional way. Because they had not met before they used the more formal version of greeting, they still bowed and touched heads, but they held the stance for a shorter time than if they were kin and instead of the growling phrase that meant “kin you are welcome here today and for all eternity.” Erik as the incomer visiting Pssamas's home dwelling said. “It is a good day to meet you, fellow sky-dweller.” Psammas bowed again and remarked. “Welcome fellow traveller.” The customs dispensed with Pssamas proceeded to show Erik around the level of the department store she called home. The department store had its own eating hall, where humans who became too tired whilst thinking of purchasing furniture could find nourishment. “At the end of each day they get rid of so much food, so I just take what I need and never go without.” “I grow my own food on top of a human “block of flats.” He pronounced it like a foreign language. Humans had a curious way of describing things Erik felt, rarely did their words describe a thing logically, but Erik still liked to learn their ways and customs."
