After a period of 24 hours, during which the flowers are given ample time to drink and hydrate, I conduct another thorough inspection before I begin working with them. HOW DO I DESIGN MY BOUQUETS 💫 When thinking about designing a bridal bouquet, I firstly think about the colour scheme, the hues and tones of colours that I want to use and even include a colour you wouldn’t expect but helps give the bouquet a more interesting look. Secondly I look at what type of textures I would like the bouquet to have, this leads me on to the flower types that I choose. I always like to put something scented into a bouquet as well, (also know that some brides request without scent) as I always think that scent just like music is remindful of special moments in our life. The flower types that I choose tend to be spiky, round, flat, and draping. I also like to use flowers that feature certain foliage that give that extra bit of depth and interest and ultimately I always put something in you might not have seen before. I use a mixture of British and Dutch flowers to achieve this. When designing your wedding flowers, I also take into account bits of your personalities, your interests and your overall styling to achieve the dream flowers. What a stunning wedding for Clare and Adam who married at @woodhallhotel 💞 There is a such a lovely story with this one Clare is also friends with my best friend jane and her wedding present to Clare was making the bridal flowers for her, so jane came to my little work shed and created the most beautiful bouquets. While I was at my work station in my garden creating the table arrangements pedestals and flowers for the home made cake also made from a friend.
