I am a firm believer in supporting other artists. There is always enough gallery room to go around. On March 21, 2024, I had the honor to be with @_audreysommer and her friends and family as Audrey went to the Opening Reception for her first gallery show. Her piece, "Connected Ships" (done with Micron Ink) was one of 19 works by Texas Artists selected for the "Surrealism: It Is, But It Isn't" show, hosted by @woodlandsartgalleryandstudio. Audrey had family and close friends in attendance, which is always great. Audrey's drawing was the second-place piece in an Attendees' Favorite Piece, and Audrey received $100. The first place Favorite was "Rocket Science," an oil-and-wax painting by Terri Locati. Swipe to the end to see this work. This show will be on view through May 10th.
