I do this ☝️way too often. I sometimes neglect past obsessions for new ones bc I’ve lost interest or just simply moved on and found something else more enticing. I have completed many things that I enjoyed doing at the time BUT I have A LOT of projects that I have started and now they sit in boxes in my basement incomplete bc my energy just won’t shift there anymore. I give away a lot so at least I am helping someone else who is more eager and able to enjoy the past activity. Some of the past obsessions included: sewing, knitting, art, writing, several small startup business ideas which didn’t do too bad 🤔, anything with animal and anatomy (don’t ask), medical journals, blogs, figure skating, dance, soccer, painting, journalism, anything to do with cooking or baking, and so MANY more!
