I explain in the video prior about how this can feel like a really tough truth to grasp when you have been conditioned otherwise for a variety of reasons, but to reiterate: your job is to express the boundary, not prove why you deserve to have it or *why* it’s your boundary. If someone is having a hard time grasping it and starts to chime in with reasons to challenge or disprove it while asking you to explain it, it’s okay to leave it at that. It’s okay that you choose what makes you feel safe over the feeling of needing to make sure you’re doing something how “normal” people do, or not making someone mad by doing it the “wrong” way. It’s okay that a person might not understand your need for that boundary, because YOU understand it, and that’s what matters because *you* are the expert of you. Home- education days like today is why we chose to do it. We got there much earlier then our stated time as it said we could do certain activities before our time slot tour. We got there when it opened but as schools had turned up late we were the first and staff said we could go through. Layla was anxious at first with it being dark, unexpected noises and not knowing what to expect but staff were just so amazing and just on it. Also because it was not crowded it meant they had time to explain to Layla what was going on and she could take her time and absorb it. She throughly enjoyed it. I have to say that Cadbury’s World is so inclusive. BSL and subtitles for the shows, chairs in every corner if people need a break, rubbish bins everywhere, more then just one disabled toilet in each place but most importantly each staff were trained to be aware of invisible disabilities. Considering how busy it is; it was also so clean. Adjustments for autistic people is so important. Everyone finds interviews challenging but for autistic people the challenges can be compounded. Something I personally struggle with in interviews is processing delay and this means I answer questions poorly. To go into an interview knowing that I would be given time to allow for the processing delay would make a massive difference. CREEPY CLAWS ANIMAL CENTRE. Thursday, we tried something a little new for us, a home ed drop-off group, which I'll admit I was nervous about, and so was Oaks. He's still only 5, very and ive chosen to home Educate for a huge number of reasons one being to get the maximum amount of time with him while he's growing up therefore drop off groups haven't ever felt right. Recently, though, we've had a few challenges, and I'm 99% sure Oaks has ADHD or Autism or perhaps both. It's been exhausting and a huge learning curve for me as well as rewarding at times when I've found success with changing something to work better for him. Oaks has a huge personality, which I love, and I don't want to ever squash that. This session only lasted an hour, and that was plenty long enough for both Oaks and me. I also stayed close by on-site, where I could still see Oaks, but he couldn't quite see me. He managed really well with this session, so I had nothing to worry about and actually it showed me that this was the group we needed without even knowing, that hour to just breathe and have a coffee was amazing and a very much needed reset. So you may wonder why I've shared this as its a personal matter, well here's why I want my Instagram to be an honest place, a place where I don't just share the perfect moments. After being honest, I may just reach one person and make a difference,it might help that one person not feel so alone. I know I've found comfort in other people's posts in the last few weeks,I've felt less alone on this journey. I woke up in a strange mood. My surplus is completely depleted, which is probably because I've had a rough week. But having said that, I'm really proud of myself. Two boys- brothers- they couldn’t be more different from each other. When I started to think that Arthur is neuro divergent like his older brother I was faced with some professionals (by no way all though 🥰) saying but you’ll be looking out for similarities and over aware of William’s struggles etc however I was not. You just have to be in the same room with them and you can see the differences immediately. William the whirlwind of life he is- fast paced-a million questions an hour but all one on specialist subject (pokemon has been the favourite for a while) and Arthur cautious and reserved, much more happy in his own bubble, spinning and lining up his toys. Life sure is interesting but I love thier individuality and what makes them themselves and I want them to be themselves wholly and truly! 🥰🥰 #autism #neurodivergent #brothers

Ketika anak sakit yg disayangkan bukan sekedar kondisi anak yg bikin hati orang tua tak menentu, tapi juga soal tumbuh kembang. Disaat anak sakit tumbuh kembang berhenti. Dan pada hanan jadi kurang maksimal juga proses terapi tumbuh kembangnya. Karena kadang banyak ijin libur. Padahal dilain sisi harus ektra disiplin teratur/konsisten dlm program terapi tumbuh kembangnya. Karena sakit kadang pula apa yg sudah bisa dicapai bisa hilang/menurun shg harus mengulang kembali. Dulu saking seringnya hanan sesak bolak balik sewa alat nebul, sekarang udah punya sendiri. Dan makin besar intensitasnya sakit disertai sesak juga lumayan berkurang. Alhamdulillah. Ada tapinya lagi hehe, sampai sekarang hanan sangat tidak suka bertemu dokter atau yg berhubungan dg rumah sakit. Hiks. A #violist with #LongCOVID is not easy especially with PEM, HoH, and #autism. Sheer passion and love playing in a community orchestra makes cubbie's inner muso happy/content/fulfilled 😄✌🏽😍🤩🎻 . . Born 1982 (says so in the sticker inside when you peep in the f holes), cubbie's viola was gifted by their grandfather. When cubbie was in high school, they could not find any available viola in Manila. Bought in #Footscray in a music store on Byron Street and then brought to the humid, tropical country the Philippines, cubbie played as a violist with the #Pasaknungan Youth Chamber Orchestra and at @dlsu concert band and string ensemble during university yeara & string quartet during graduate school.

Hjärnan samordnar alla intryck, tankar, känslor, minnen, kunskaper, motiv m m. Svag central koherens innebär att man lättare ser detaljer, men har svårare att se helheten.
