A little becomes a lot 💙
More eye contact. Listening better . Taking my hand .
Repeating sounds . Engaging more . Smiling at others . Showing more interest . Following instruction.
It can seem that sometimes you’re stuck in a cycle when you’re a parent of a non verbal or Sen child thinking will I ever hear their voice or how do I know what they want ?
But hang on in there because all the little things you’re doing add up and they start taking notice and eventually you see the difference it makes.
We have been going to multiple groups and charities for support it’s relentless and honestly exhausting no one is coming to do it for you have to put in the work for me that’s travelling round Birmingham anywhere and everywhere but it’s paying off !
