Northwoods is a fast read. The story itself is more is a slow burn and I will say it is an interesting one! I’m a big fan of the layers of this book and I thought the themes were handled with care. I wasn’t sure how I felt about the book overall but I did want to see how it ended. Although… with an open ended ending the joke was on me! If there’s a second book I’ll probably pick it up. Amy Pease is clearly a talented writer. Northwoods is out now!
