📍Victoria State, Australia 🇦🇺 📸Twelve Apostles, GOR . . . This is an out of body experience and one you must see while driving the Great Ocean Road! The 12 Apostles are stunning and provide magnificent views of the rocks formation. If you go early in the morning, it's quite and peaceful. The parking lot fills up fast and there can be quite a lot of tourists by the afternoon. From the parking lot, it's a short walk to the viewing area along the coast. There is also a walkway to get to Gibson Steps. It's quite a walk, you're better off driving directly to the Gibsons Steps parking lot, but it's an option...
Finishing up an incredible 4 days & 46kms on the Great Ocean Walk trail plus exploring the Otways Rainforest with this family from Melbourne. Utilising accommodation at @bimbi.park and again near Princetown made the trip nice and comfortable. Looking forward to the next one.

We left the ferry at around 11 o’clock and made our way towards the great ocean road. The weather didn’t quite know what it wanted either! There was sun, then clouds and sometimes even rain... The road was very winding but there were great places to stop and enjoy the view. Moody Monday... Twelve Apostles Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia I had mum down from Queensland for a couple of weeks, so we took a road trip along Great Ocean Road. It's actually a trip I'd planned back in 2019, but I had to abandon as Australia was on fire the day I'd planned to leave. Four and a bit years later, I can finally tick it off. My visions of shooting the Apostles with a fiery sunset behind them weren't to be. We had good weather on the first day of the drive, but by the time we arrived on Great Ocean Road, it was windy, overcast, and raining. Still, the clouds made for a nice moody backdrop for my photos. D A Y T W O Took a ferry into Robben Island, where we learned more about the history of Africa and her long walk to freedom. Robben Island was where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of his life in prison. It was definitely a sombre experience that helped me better appreciate and love Africa even more. It was a majorly foggy morning, and we weren't even sure if we would have been able to go up to Table Mountain, but we were truly blessed because the fog cleared! 🙌🏻 Table Mountain, as its name suggests, is a mountain with a flat top just like a table. An iconic wonder of nature, it'sa definite must-visit. A hike to the top offers breathtaking views of the city and ocean below. You can also take the cable car, which offers a 360 degrees view up the mountain! ⛰️ We ended the day by visiting the 12 Apostles- majestic mountains that stand sentinel along the coast. If you ever find yourself in this incredible city, be sure to add these to your must-see list! F O O D Breakfast was had in the hotel. For lunch, we visited the Time-Out Market, which was like an atas food court. We had pizzas and burgers, which were really, really good. 🍕🍔 Ingredients were really fresh, and portions were big! We later heard from our friends that the sesame-based ramen there is incredible! We had our dinner at a Turkish restaurant in a similar area as the Victoria Wharf, Quay Four and Time-Out Market were located. It wasn't too bad!
