In Canada, two out of three families live outside a city where there are the necessary specialty hospitals and medical personnel. Many of these families must travel to cities like Halifax to get the necessary medical assessment and treatments they require. This often requires an extended stay in the city while the person or their loved one is getting the treatment they need. All this can come at a debilitating economic cost, not to mention the emotional strain that already exists. At the far back there is some more Comets and 707's That would make an excellent logbook that day and that's exactly what I got. You needed a good telescope to get the registrations of the ones far away. No Flight Radar in those days that's too easy now. So glad I kept all my logbooks if they are even made out of scrap paper and gold chocolate boxes from Christmas. I even found a photo of the actual type of the box I used. 9yrs ago I was almost a Major in the Army and just months away from separating from the Army to go get my MBA - or so I thought - @warriorangelsfdn was already few months old at this point and I had no idea the ride I was in for after leaving the Army. Speaking of rides - I really enjoyed my time here supporting the Canadian Royal Air Force annual training exercise at Fort Wainwright, Alberta helping to share tactics, techniques, procedures, and best practices in a true coalition effort - true collaboration training in its highest order. At the end of the exercise their senior IP took me up and let me fly their Bell CH-146 Griffon.
