We were thrilled to be asked to design two bathrooms and adjacent hallway in the fabulous and rare 1880s historical Burt Farm Estate. Inspired by the idyllic mountain setting we wanted to bring as much nature inside the house while honoring the existing structure. It was a tight space so we painted the original walls and ceiling a creamy white and layered an antique carpet over a sisal to anchor the space. @carriepenleyart “Collage of a Deer Head” from @hollandmacrae hangs over an antique French console from the @thenicholsongallery gallery giving just the right amount of natural rustic you’d expect to see in a family mountain house, and of course we peppered in our favorite vintage accessories to give the small hallway personality.
