Az idei évad abszolút legkedvesebb előadása lett. Hatalmas büszkeség, hogy 40.évfordulós ünnepi előadásokat, valamint az utána következő turnét is én fejgépezhettem, így egy nagyon kis szeletben benne lehetek a darab történelmében. Nem mellesleg a darabot mindkét fejgépről megtanulhattam. Remélem még sokszor találkozunk a karminca bálon! The front house views filled with audience was always one of my favorite views. Every night when I come out for my bow, this view reminded me how much I LOVE and appreciate what I do. . . June 18th 2023, We closed our chapter of North America tour CATS the musical. I said good bye to lovely Victoria and the beautiful the Jellicle moon. My favorite part of the show was when I (Victoria) take the very first step into this stage in the opening number. No matter how many time I step into this junkyard, I felt every night was my first the Jellicle Ball. I’ve learned, changed and grown a lot. I’ve cried, struggled and laughed so much. All moments and feelings are treasure of my life. I can’t say enough thank you to ALL my friends, family and mentors who’ve been super supportive. Huge huge thank you to my cast, musicians, crew, creative and management for trusting me and all your love and kindness. ⚠️ volume warning for the videos ⚠️ Happy trails to the cast and crew in this tour of @catsthemusical 👏🏻 Attended my first Jellicle ball last night, and it was such a blast! I can't fully put into words the amount of awe and admiration I have for the cast being able to sing while moving and dancing so gracefully, all while acting their faces off. The music the orchestra played combined with the lighting definitely made the Jellicle world so much more believable. Special shout-outs: @idtapthat03 and her tap number was INSANE!!!! My jaw was on the floor the entire time @hanksantos absolutely slayed as rum tum tugger (the way he commanded the crowd was everything) @ibb.ml and his costume danced my socks off @sheistayler killed memory, and I cried tears. 6.18.23 - ✨closing night of CATS US Tour 6✨ Last night, we played our final performance of CATS in Honolulu, Hawaii. There is still so much to process, but through all the tears, there is a blissful feeling of completion, knowing that our time in the junkyard has come to an end. Our final performance is something that will live in my head for a long time, and in my heart for even longer. We would get to sections of the show and I’d be transported back to my first time learning them: 10 months ago in Modesto, CA when we started rehearsals or, in some instances, to almost two years ago when I was first taping the audition combos in the cramped media room of my London housing complex. It’s a privilege to be a part of a show with such a huge legacy, but I’m more grateful for what wasn’t set in stone. We were masterfully guided through Gillian and Andy’s work by Kim, Chrissie, Grace, Kieran, and Gracie, but so much of the show was left to be crafted by the 2022-2023 company. With the added guidance from the returning company members, we created our* version of the show. Last night, every moment we had choreographed into our tracking had SO much love behind it. Those are the moments I’ll never forget. On a personal note, I am immensely proud of myself for all of the successes and failures these last ten months have brought me. Every show brought a new lesson, and every day at least three more! I remember a time where my OCD deprived me of the joy of doing the show, with me constantly hoarding my memories and mentally retracing my steps. I’m so proud that I’ve worked to get to a point where I’ve been able to enjoy the majority of this run with presence and clarity. This was the adventure of a lifetime. I’ll never forget my tenure as the railway cat. Thankful for every single person involved with this tour, the friendships forged, and all the play we had. Well, here it is, a post to commemorate the end of @catsthemusical 's North American Tour! I can't believe it's actually coming to an end! There are a lot of feelings roiling around inside of me right now. I'm incredibly sad, of course, this tour and these people mean the world to me and I want to keep seeing them play these roles (I'm incredibly selfish, and never want to see it end) but there is satisfaction in an ending, especially one as good as this. I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours working on these pieces and the better part of 2 years drawing nonstop for both tours, and I wouldn't take back a single second of it. To the friends I made among the cast and crew, thank you for taking me in. To the entire cast and crew, thank you for all the love and support. I adore each and every one of you so, so much. I never would have thought that Cats of all things would have such a positive impact on my life. I'm endless grateful! I will say, drawing all these actors so many times has actually made me so much better at art! With color, blending, anatomy, with getting better at drawing different faces and body types and expressions, everything! I have y'all to thank for that! Here's just a bundle of my favorite pieces I've done over the course of the past year. I'm tempted to make another post with more art I want to reshare, because I have a lot more that I love, but I won't inundate y'all with multiple posts of me being a sap. It has pushed me artistically, physically and emotionally. It has given me space to learn about myself.
