I love Spanish wine and I love when winemakers are thinking outside the box to create something unique. This is why when I was told about The guv’nor I knew I had to try it. I won’t tell you too much but the unique thing about this bottle is that it breaks all the rules in Spanish wine production rule book. It tastes amazing, I love how bold and fruity it is. Saturday night date with the chef’s table from Crockers Tring. There is a lot of fun watching my fiancé preparing fine dining dinner in our own kitchen whilst you sit there sipping Krug (our absolute favourite, I haven’t found any other champagne that will have such beautiful creamy brioche intense flavours). We moved to Emiliana Organic Viognier for the starter and the main course, with strong notes of apricot, peach and honey it accompanied pork belly beautifully. Thick skinned and smaller grapes help withstand harsher climates, but also give the grape some bitterness.
