15 months of Gym progress 🏋🏼♀️💪🏻 First picture (excuse the mess 🤣) was the end of January 2023. I had already lost 4 stone and just started the gym (fitness classes). I started lifting weights with intent at the end of February 2023. Second pic was a couple of weeks ago. About 2 more stone gone and a fair amount of muscle gained 🙌🏻 Getting where you want to be is not an overnight process (and neither should it be!). I’ve got a way to go but I’ve learned to enjoy the process 😁 Lost a few more lbs in the last couple weeks and noticing more changes in my body so we’re on the right track! ❤️ I have no goal weight because I don’t care what I weigh anymore! I wanna be strong, look good and feel good. Strong, good human… teacher for realz and one that we all should learn from. Met in 1983 El Toro Marine Horse Stables. I was 11, jackie was 12…. I didn’t like her. 😂😂😂 I can’t imagine my world without her. Ever!!! What a true sister from another mister family bond universe delivered. Knew we needed each other to get thru this “thing called life” She mothered me good. 💯 needed it! We were so frickin mature… we both lived with our dads and were the little mommas. Taking care of everyone. Did some dang good horse riding. “Stable days” 💫 wouldn’t trade that experience for anything. Builds strong humans. Horses and dreams…. Time goes by anyway…. Do what you love and what makes you happy. 🤙🏻 surround yourself with people that lift you and remind you of your journey, strengths, determination and will not let you quit on yourself.
