Their sole album was released in 1983 in Italy and Brazil on Sangy’s label, Musix, and is now heavily sought–after by collectors and DJs. Gayle Adams - S/T (1980) Honestly, this is one of my favorite LP’s from Prelude Records. The album starts with an uptempo love song, “Your Love is a Life Saver”. Next comes, “Stretchin’ Out”, which keeps the energy high and glamorizes getting ready for a night on the town! Both of these tracks I believe were singles for the album and rightfully so. Gayle only recorded two albums for Prelude Records, “Gayle Adams” and “Love Fever”, which were written and produced by Willie Lester and Rodney Brown.
