A 69-year-old individual tragically passed away on Friday following an incident where he encountered difficulties after accidentally falling into the sea. Authorities reported that the incident occurred at St. Peter's Pool in Delimara around 1:30 pm. The victim, identified as a Romanian citizen, was rescued from the water by members of the Armed Forces of Malta. Subsequently, AFM personnel transported the individual to Hay Wharf in Floriana, where he was administered initial medical assistance. Regrettably, despite efforts, he was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter by medical personnel. On top of the Delimara Salt pans on the southern shore they could easily catch their fish deep into the sea. We’ve been to Malta twice, both times during Christmas and New Year’s. For me, Malta is perfect during this period, though not everyone agrees. But what matters most is that my husband supports me. Especially in my desire to climb into some mysterious cactus on the way to a secret natural pool, or end up in someone’s garden because we thought we were smarter than Google and didn’t follow its route. Then by chance, we found the best table at a coastal cafe and kept returning there for the remainder of our vacation. An hour’s drive. One way. I hope to come back here again, but the tickets for this Christmas are unexpectedly expensive, even though it’s off-season :( *Behind me is the Delimara Power Station; you can see the LNG storage and regasification units.

New signs being installed to roads leading to Delimara, thanks to the Marsaxlokk Local Council and TM transport malta , hope that the speed signs will be installed next . Delimara, an important part of Marsaxlokk village, is in our target for an uplift, pruning of trees, replacement of dead or broken trees, new 30 km/hr speed limits, stopping illegal dumping, take our trash home, and replenishing the whole of Delimara for families, kids , adults and tourists to enjoy walks, swims , cycling and picnics .
