Terzo giorno: Mattina: visita alla chiesa di Bojana, patrimonio UNESCO, su una collina nella periferia sud di Sofia. Poiché mal collegata con gli autobus (almeno da dove eravamo noi), decidiamo di andare in taxi, leggiamo su Internet che costa circa 7-9 €, invece tra A/R ne spendiamo 45€😩. La chiesina davvero minuscola, con affreschi del 1200 sicuramente molto belli, ma si poteva rimanere dentro non più di 10 minuti😩😩😩.... Insomma a saperlo avremmo evitato! Inoltre nel bosco circostante non si potevano fare picnic, quindi siamo tornati nel parco cittadino dove abbiamo mangiato i nostri panini, e poi una sosta all' area giochi che quando si viaggia con i bimbi ci vuole! Nel pomeriggio abbiamo ripreso le nostre passeggiate per il centro storico, abbiamo incontrato anche un panda 🐼 gigante, proprio di fronte alla chiesa di Santa Domenica, sontuosa chiesa ortodossa. Poi una visita alla moschea Banya Bashi, e di fronte c'è anche la sinagoga. COLOMBIA | Por medio de una cooperación alemana, el Parque Natural Chiribiquete recibirá un millón de dólares anuales. El anuncio se hizo oficial el pasado 25 de abril debido a la identificación de construcciones de carreteras en una zona protegida del país. La financiación del programa se da por medio del fondo alemán Legacy Landscapes Fund (LLF). Después de establecer una estructura liderada por Parques Nacionales Naturales de Colombia, en conjunto con la ONG Sociedad Zoológica de Frankfurt, esta última será la encargada de administrar los recursos adecuadamente. Simón Herchen, ministro consejero de la Embajada de Alemania, indicó que la inversión será de 30 millones de dólares entregados de manera anual durante los próximos 30 años, con opción de renovación al término del contrato. Este millón representa el 25% del manejo anual del parque. ‘Este es un tema crucial para la vida. Las cuentas en CO2 determinan si vivimos o no como especie. Chiribiquete se convierte en un símbolo de dos cosas al mismo tiempo, difícil de encontrar en el mundo’, expresó Gustavo Petro. Luis Olmedo Martínez, director de Parques Nacionales Naturales, destacó que ‘esto permitirá fortalecer la gestión de la entidad en la conservación del patrimonio natural y cultural de Colombia a perpetuidad’. Sicilya'da bulunan Agrigentum şehrinin tiran hükümdarı Phalaris, yaklaşık MÖ 570 yılında yönetimi ele geçirdi ve hükümdarlığını adanın büyük bir kısmına yaymayı başardı. Küçük çocukları yiyen bir yamyam olduğuna dair söylentilerin yanı sıra dünyaya bıraktıği en korkunç miras, ölüm cezasının infazı için kullandığı pirinç boğaydı. Atinalı Perillos'un icat ettiği bu aygıt, özünde çok basit bir şeydi: Yandan kapılı, içi boş, bronz bir boğa. Uygulamasıysa korkunçtu. Mahkum, boğanın içine konur ve altında ateş yakılırdı; böylece boğa kızgınlaştıkça kurban da içeride yanarak ölürdü. Aygıt, yanan insanın yarattığı dumanı ise ustalıkla tütsü bulutlarına çeviriyordu. Bir başka özelliği de boğanın kafasında, kurbanın çığlıklarını boğa böğürmesine çeviren tüplerden ve tapalardan oluşan bir mekanizma olmasıydı. Perillos, mekanizmasını tanıttığında bu özelliği sergilemek adina içeri girmeyi kendisi teklif eder, bunun üzerine acımasız Phalaris ise kapının kilitlenmesini ve aygıtın altında bir ateş yakılmasını emreder. Perillos'un çığlıkları gerçekten de boğa böğürmesine dönüşür ve hiç olmazsa çok geç olmadan boğanın içinden çıkarılır. Fakat Perillos icadı için ödüllendirilmek yerine bir tepenin başından atılarak öldürülür. Samsatlı Lukianos'a göre Phalaris'in mucide olan bu sert tepkisinin sebebi "kendisinin bile böyle dahiyane bir zalimliğin düşüncesinden tiksinmesi" ve yaratıcısını cezalandırmaya yemin etmiş olmasıdır. Kaderin cilvesine bakın ki yaklaşık yirmi sene sonra Phalaris devrildiğinde onu öldüren tam da bu boğa olacaktır. Günümüzde İstanbul/Çemberlitaş Meydanı olarak bilinen bölgede MS 328'de Roma İmparatoru I. Konstantin tarafından "Konstantin Forumu" inşa edilmiştir. Forum, İmparator I. Konstantin tarafından Roma'nın yeni başkenti Konstantinopolis'in merkez meydanı işlevini görmesi için yaptırılmıştır. Kentin bu ilk forumu, Septimius Severus döneminden kalma Byzantion kent surlarının ana kapısının hemen önüne inşa edilmiştir. Forumun merkezinde günümüzde de ayakta olan ve Çemberlitaş olarak bilinen porfir sütun yer almaktadır. GÖBEKLİTEPE - ŞANLIURFA(M.Ö 10000)12 bin yıllık Türkiye'nin güneydoğusundaki Şanlıurfa yakınında yaklaşık 800 metre yükseklikteki bir tepenin yamacında yer alan Göbekli Tepe'de, etkileyici biçimde dairesel yapılmış anıtsal taş yapılarda 1995 yılından beri kazı çalışmaları sürdürülmektedir. Çapları 20 metreye kadar ulaşan bu yapılar, oldukça büyük T-şeklinde kireçtaşı sütunlarla tamamlanmıştır. Yükseklikleri 3 metreden 5 metreye kadar değişmektedir. Genellikle bir dairenin ortasına iki sütun yerleştirilmiştir Dikilitaşların çoğunda insan, hayvan ya da soyut semboller var. Taşa işlenen bu en eski rölyeflerin yanı sıra üç boyutlu hayvan kabartmalarına da rastlanıyor.
