Yesterday, I was a day early for my mentoring session with @allieclarkephoto - You would think having family in the USA would help me with time zones, but alas, it did not. So, I used the time to go back and look at the goals for my business. I realized that they were just a list of failures, areas I wanted to improve, which is important, but didn’t feel like goals. I think this happens to us all, hey? We focus so much on what is wrong or messy or hard, instead of thinking about the fact that we are on our way to reach our goals, that this is all part of it. A really important part. The bulk of it. So, I am going to be better at talking the talk and appreciating where I am at and where I am going. I encourage you to do the same. These hard and messy moments are all part of it. The life part.

I dropped my son off in Ballarat to see his girlfriend and decided I might as well explore autumn in Ballarat and the clouds looked like they had sunset potential so I finished at the lake. CAPTURING THE DIFFERENT // DETAILS AND TEXTURES 🫶🏻 This mid century home was on paper, not much to love- but the owner saw something others didn't! She transformed this one bedroom "demo" into a couples getaway retreat right in the heart of Newtown. East facing windows fill the lounge and bedroom with soft streams of warmth and the back yard offers another space for gin in the book nook. Walking distance to Geelong's footy ground, it was hard not to throw some footy props into the photoshoot!
