However, if you can afford one for a treat, maybe a pamper session, before an event or a holiday treat in a luxury bathroom, then they are a great thing to use. For me they give instant results which may not be long lasting but perfect before an event. Overall I liked them all, some more than others. Fit wise the best were Decree and Guerlain. I do have a small face though, so the issues with the others around the chin probably wouldn’t be an issue for most people. Would I use one every week? No, I would stick to cream/gel masks for regular use. However I would sooner use a premium sheet mask maybe once a month rather than cheap ones on a regular basis because in my experience most of the time the cheap ones do nothing. Favourite? Tough as they all had different things I liked. I would say overall the Decree was my favourite followed by La Mer (ad-pr) and Guerlain. The only one I wouldn’t buy again was the 111skin because of the poor fit on my face and the fact it kept slipping. After a week in a summerhouse with limited hot water and far in between a long shower I treated myself with these goodies this morning. 🐚 Scalp and Body Scrub @theouai is the best and most delicious smelling body scrub I own. It is a sugar scrub, it lathers a little which makes is easy to spread and a get a good scrub going and it makes me baby bum smooth. The scent is so soothing and refreshing at the same time and it absorbs fast. Have a look at your hands. Yes, they need some love and care! We wash them often, use alcohol all the time, and now with the cold weather hand care is a must. Here is my nightly hand care routine that everyone should follow using your own existing skincare products: - Exfoliate: Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 which I apply gently with a piece of cotton all over my hands. If you have any other exfoliants feel free to use them. Every little step helps. - Vitamin C product: my favorite is SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic. Make sure to massage in thoroughly for best absorption. - Hyaluronic acid: Forlle’d P-Effect Essence and sometimes Valmont Hydra 3 Regenetic for hydration and regeneration of the skin. - Cream: MSR-h or any other cream you like to create a layer of protection and further hydrate the skin. - Mask: Creme Masque Vernix makes the biggest difference. This is my last step and my hands feel super soft and hydrated enough to combat the extreme dryness that they face all day long. If you like to wear hand gloves go for it. Yesterday was a full on pamper day. Sunday felt like the official end of the Christmas holidays so I decided to spend the afternoon having some me time and a real pamper. Started off putting my hair back with a silk scrunchie, then used the sensica sensilift around my eyes and on my jawline. I’m really enjoying using this at the moment. I can see an instant difference in the area around my eyes and the skin feels and looks smoother. Looking forward to seeing how the results are long term. Just before Christmas I was sent the ultimate pamper package from Skimono. I received their “advanced moisturisation indulgence pack” which includes a sheet mask for the face as well as foot and hand masks. Using all three at the same time was the perfect way to just take time out and relax for 30 minutes while the hydrating ingredients got to work. The bio-cellulose face mask was a perfect fit and just the right amount of wetness. All of them worked brilliantly to hydrate the skin and I can still feel the results today. Out of all of them I would say the foot mask was my favourite.
