Spomenik NOB Tompojevci Narodni Heroj Vid Bodiroža Vicuka Rođen je 1919. u selu Kamenica, kod Drvara. Do početka Drugog svjetskog rata radio je kao fizički radnik u fabrici celuloze u Drvaru. Učesnik je Narodnooslobodilačkog rata od 1941. Početkom 1942. primljen je u članstvo Komunističke partije Jugoslavije (KPJ). Bio je komandant Četvrte krajiške udarne brigade. Poginuo je u borbama na Sremskom frontu, 17. januara 1945. u blizini sela Tompojevci, kod Vukovara. Sahranjen je u zajedničkoj grobnici boraca NOVJ na seoskom groblju u Tompojevcima, gdje im je podignut spomenik. Here is a collection of 3 pictures that are not related in any way, opposed to what I have been showing you up until now. Pic 1: I don’t really remember the year this picture was taken, but it was obviously winter. The composition is a little bit off due to the fact that the subject is weirdly placed on the far bottom of the picture, and it is also cropped. Despite that, I still like the picture because of the eerie vibe of the fog in the background and the way the car and the roof of the house give color to this otherwise really white scene. Pic 2: These picture was taken in Vienna, in the same day the pictures in my other post were taken, but I decided to exclude it from that post because I find it has a different feel. It has more modern elements and the color palette is also different. What I enjoy about it is again the pops of red in the sign and the trash can, contrasting well to the tealish, blueish undertone of the street. Pic 3: This is my cat Millie 🥰. I think you are going to see more pictures of her. Obviously she is the main character of this picture, but I would say that the main theme is “home”. I like how the curtain splits the picture in two halves, and also the geometric look the wall with the plants gives to the composition. Церква Воздвиження Чесного Хреста ділить подвір’я з міською пожежною частиною. Саме це було однією з причин, що завадили храму увійти до переліку 16 церков українських та польських Карпат, які внесли до списку ЮНЕСКО. Вперше храм на цьому місці згадується у документах у 1496. Під час татарського нападу на місто у 1499 церква згоріла. Нинішню 1613 року спорудили за рахунок власників солевидобувної промисловості Дрогобича і знаходиться неподалік споруд старого солеварного заводу. Основна її незвичність у тому, що під одним дахом, фактично, вмістилися дві святині. Справа в тім, що на одному престолі не можна було відправляти третю денну службу, тому виникла потреба у побудові каплиці. І у 1661 над бабинцем спорудили каплицю св. Івана Хрестителя. У результаті, храм став двоярусним і двоверхим. Особливо цінними є розписи всередині храму. Стінопис походить з різних часів , починаючи з 15ст. Але церква постійно зачинена, чекає на реставрацію, і всередину не вдалося потрапити. Виняток становить храмове свято 27 вересня, коли у церкві ведеться богослужіння.
