Для любителей тонких поэтичных драм он прежде Фсего автор замечательной трилогии “Перед...рассветом/закатом/полуночью”; снятое в течение 12 лет в режиме “естественного взросления” “Отрочество” пошумело на фестивалях и навело шороху своей основательностью и документальной точностью; анимация в технике ротоскопирования (в том числе отчаянно рекомендуемый мною предыдущий “Аполлон 10 1/2”) - ещё одна примечательная ветвь развития, на которой висит немало вкусняшек.🍓 Так вот: новое творение режиссёра, кажется, способно если не примирить, то уж точно объединить разных непересекающихся в природе/кинозале зрителей, заставив их в кои-то веки одновременно(!) испытать схожие и очень яркие эмоции, а после просмотра посмотреть друг на друга и сказать: “Так вот ты какой... приятно познакомиться”. И снова разбежаться по своим “информационным пузырям”. История преподавателя психологии (обаятельный в любом амплуа Гленн Пауэлл), подрабатывающего в полиции сначала техником, а затем и полноправным агентом, изображающим наёмного убийцу и провоцирующим заказчика специфической услуги на откровения под запись, вполне себе тянет на завязку стереотипного боевика какой-нибудь крупной студии. Но мы уже из первого абзаца поняли, что с Линклейтером Фсё не так просто. Впрочем, здесь-то Фсё действительно просто, но в том самом совершенно обезоруживающем смысле этого слова, когда максимально внятное и незамутнённое количеством трактовок повествование катает нас словно на американских горках: драма сменяется комедией, ирония - романтикой, а режиссёр стоит в сторонке, щурится от смеха и проверяет, сработали ли разбросанные то тут, то там едва заметные приятные глазу мелочи. Сработали.👏 А ещё хочется придумать, что многочисленные образы нашей изобретательной подсадной утки - это сам Ричард Линклейтер с его какой-то невероятной способностью к мимикрии и умением чувствовать себя уверенно в совершенно разных жанрах, неизменно оставаясь предельно доступным и остроумным. Не факт, что автор подобное закладывал, но мне нравится эта мысль. Буду её думать.✅

Season 6 complete, Well the first half started off rather good, I loved that Virginia had taken control by force and she had split the teams up, I thought Morgans answer for being alive was rather weak "I don't know" and when we found out who helped him I thought meh, however Morgans storyline for the most part in the first half was great he really became this strong action based man that needed to get his group back together, the axe he wielded his new outfit was brillaint, he was a mix between Negan and Rick I think, Charlie grew on me this season, Dakota annoyed the hell out of me, and I hated her for what she did to John, this season for me also had one of the most emotional farewell episodes in this show, while I enjoyed episodes 1 to 9, for me the best of the season were, "The Door", "Things Left To Do" and "Handle With Care" I thought these episodes were great, however this season also had one of the worst episodes I have ever seen in this franchise "In Dreams" I can't stand Grace, so this whole episode about her was awful for me, the villain for the 2nd part of the season I thought was rather lacklustre after the great Virginia and dealing with nuclear explosions, come in how the Fuck they supposed to get through that! Season 5 complete, While I loved the reintroduction of Dwight and his reunion with Morgan and him seeking redemption and searching for Sherry was great to see and play out, Dwight and Dory's friendship was a rather strong bond which seemed to grow naturally, the season opener say the first 3 or 4 episodes were good, but for me it slowly went down hill, I liked the idea of the group helping others to be able to save them and bring them into their own group, but they concentrated to much on the group of kids they found, especially as after this season they just disappear without a trace. The season picked up a bit more towards the end of the season but not enough to make me love this season, the Introduction of Virginia was alright she seemed Neganesque but not as violent, but very much the dictatorship character, but the seasons cliffhanger was rather frustrating. I still love June and John's story, Their couple story is the best and glad they finally got married. I didn't much like the character of Grace, I thought she was rather pointless.
