👑 Action shot! 👑 The children have LOVED acting out our story ‘Gorgeous George and the Dirty Dragon’ this week. There have been lots of dramatic moments. Baby Massage is genuinely one of THE best classes to do with your little one! It’s a beautiful and gentle introduction to the world for baby and a relaxing way to spend some time bonding with baby whilst enjoying lovely mum chats, tea and snacks too! There are just too many benefits to list but some of my faves are; -Bonding with baby -Release of oxytocin -Relaxing -Helping with any issues with colic, teething, coughs, colds and more! -Helping babies digestive and circulatory system to grow and develop -Building babies brain, yes you actually help to build babies brain. The more you repeat something the more it strengthens those neural pathways and by simply stroking baby from head to toe you are helping to build proprioception (fancy word for body awareness!) Did you know? -In my classes we always start with some stretching and breathwork. -We have oodles of time to go through the wonderful baby massage routine. -We spend a whole class dedicated to Tummy Time play exercises -There is a little gift for you and for baby each week! -I make everyone a cuppa and there are lots of scrummy choccie biscuits (with healthy options and options for coeliac, vegan and dairy/soy free too!) -We always have lots of time to chat over the cuppa too -I always finish the class with a poem or letter whilst you enjoy a snuggle with your little one! ☀️ SUMMER CAMP - DAY 3 ☀️ 🧳 Today we pretended to be Benjamin - a little boy who was having a very boring summer. Until, that is, his Granny showed him that his suitcase was magic, and (with a bit of imagination), could take him wherever he wanted to go! 🧳 🏔️ We climbed up a mountain 🛷We zoomed through the snow on a sledge 🎈We floated through the clouds in a hot air balloon 🎢 We even went to the funfair! 🎨 We crafted our very own hot air balloons and flew them through bubble clouds. We bounced balloons on the parachute and watched as they floated through the sky. We’ve had a little flurry of new followers recently, and I’m sure lots of you are wondering - what is Debutots? Debutots is an interactive storytelling and dramatic play class, running sessions for children aged 6 months - 7 years. Our fun and exciting classes develop children’s language skills and promote their confidence and creativity. 🔮 We’ve had so much fun exploring our interactive story ‘The Magic Rug’ this week! 🔮 👶 The babies waved their rainbow scarves in the air to make the magic rug fly. They practised using their bodies and sounds to show that they were cold (brrrrrr 🥶), hot (phew 🥵) and wet (splish splash 💦) 🧒 The toddlers jumped into Magical Story World and flew to all sorts of exotic places on their magic rugs, bringing different pets back for the grumpy King 👑 🧑The children in our after-school clubs cast themselves as the different characters from the story and created wonderful re-enactments. 👑 We’ve had an amazing time helping Mr McTaffy grow his spring garden this week, but alongside our usual programme of classes, we’ve also been helping some settings to celebrate the Coronation! 👑 🐭 We’ve been putting on our whiskers and twitchy noses to become the Squeaker family of mice, who live behind the skirting boards at Buckingham Palace! 🐭 💂♀️ We worked together to polish crowns, we made a delicious picnic party with the yummiest cake we’d ever tasted, and we learnt all about The Big Help Out from Sam the Scout Leader!
