Happy Earth Day 🌎 Despite being so sick on the first half of my New Zealand trip, @foodphotographer really managed to get great shots (and I was able to pose then lie down 😅) Sinus infections are no joke! Didn’t make it to the South Island of New Zealand; tbh I think I would need to stay for 4 weeks or more to explore both islands. There is SO much to do on both! But, here are some of my favorite scenes from the North Island that made me really thankful for this beautiful planet! 1 & 2: Royal Billy Point, The Coromandel 3 & 4: Local honey and alpacas, sheep and more at @agrodome, Rotorua 5. Redwood @treewalknz, Rotorua (they imported California Redwoods for biodiversity!) 6. Sacred Waterfall at Omanawa Falls (you can no longer hike down to the waterfall and swim in the water, but there is a beautiful park where you can hike to great viewing spots of this gem!) 7. First winery in the world to see the sunrise, @matawherowines 8. I loved seeing these Māori carvings throughout our road trip and learning more about their culture! What stop would you head to first?

When I was led by God to quiet the noise & I started to actually read MY Bible, my ENTIRE life changed! One of the FIRST things I realized is that these people (MANY…not ALL) are out here preaching a false gospel! Many are preaching THEIR OPINIONS & telling you what your itching ears want to hear. They aren’t preaching the WORD OF GOD! That’s why you’re still the same & VERY comfortable in your sin😉 I want to remind you that Jesus IS the living WORD OF GOD. ”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.“ John 1:1-5 NKJV When you read the WORD, you are having an encounter with JESUS on a whole new level! There are moments where God will send PEOPLE to encourage you; & then there are moments where it seems like you can’t reach ANYBODY (everyone’s busy &/or they’re not picking up); & you have to know how to STRENGTHEN YOURSELF IN THE LORD. The other day, I was having a rough few hours & I just stopped & said “GOD, I NEED SOME ENCOURAGEMENT.” He reminded me of these 5 tips I took STRAIGHT from the Bible & taught on a couple of weeks ago! I began to live these out & the Lord began to reveal things & speak to me! By the end of the day I had SO much breakthrough (more than what I had even ASKED for) & I was definitely ENCOURAGED! Here are 5 ways to strengthen YOURSELF in the Lord: 1. ENCOURAGE YOURSELF 2. INQUIRE OF THE LORD 3. PURSUE THE ENEMY 4. RECOGNIZE GOD’S PROVISION 5. ATTACK AND RECOVER ALL You have to learn how to FIGHT. We are in a constant battle with the devil. The weapons of our warfare are NOT carnal. Don’t just let the enemy come and steal from you AND take what you value the most. Even in the midst of all of that pain, David encouraged himself in the Lord and sought the Lord for a PLAN and an ANSWER. Go to God and ask for a PLAN and an ANSWER. The three artworks were: The Color Purple project, Phenomenal Woman, & Nature and Rhythm all mixed media. Special thanks to my teacher Ms. C. officially 3 months post wedding, so decided I’d share some bts photos on the feed. | although the details turned out perfectly, just like any wedding day I’m sure, the day was far from perfect lol. ✨CHOOSE YOUR FRIENDS CAREFULLY✨ All through my teenage years, & my 20’s, I would CRY because I felt like a lot of my friendships sucked! I am a VERY loyal, & loving, friend! I take FRIENDSHIP very seriously! What I often found is that a lot of other people don’t! They don’t know how to do friendship the WORLDS way; but they have NO CLUE how to do friendship the BIBLICAL way! I would experience “friends” just abruptly stop talking to me without explaining why & having no real closure. “Friends” would get weird with me all of a sudden & not communicate why. “Friends” would talk about me behind my back. “Friends” would be jealous of me. “Friends” would secretly hate me & cover it up in FLATTERY &/or JOKES. The list goes on & on. I believe God allowed me to go through this, regarding friendship, because FRIENDSHIP is GOD’s idea. Out of ALL the things Jesus could’ve called us after saying we are no longer SERVANTS…He calls us “FRIENDS.” The way GOD views friendship & the way the WORLD views friendship are very different. I, now, have some HEALTHY, GODLY, & AMAZING friendships because God has taught ME how to be a friend. I can expect someone else to be a friend to me when I am not a friend to them. My expectations in friendship are high because of who I am, and what I give, in a friendship. I can, also, see how God does friendship with ME & that is such a BEAUTIFUL experience! Growing up, my mom would always tell me “Ashlee, if you NEEDED friends, God would give them to you. Jesus was alone a lot. You don’t need them right now.” She was right. Then she taught me how to PRAY for GODLY friends to come into my life! I did & now I have some covenant friendships! There’s not A LOT; but ENOUGH😉 Everyone can’t be YOUR friend & YOU can’t be a friend to everyone. Ask God for wisdom & discernment. Love, Ash🫶🏽

The endings of seasons. The endings of jobs….& more. Early on, l would OFTEN feel, & totally BELIEVE, that God was literally PUNISHING me. Even if it doesn’t involve my plans…it just requires a divine ending. I had to learn that as QUICKLY as God ends things, he’s ALREADY BEGUN A NEW THING. The question is “Do you not SEE it?!?” ”For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun!
