Quella di oggi è per me una data importante, in quanto segna l’inizio di un percorso di crescita e di cambiamento ✨ Proprio questa mattina, in call, mi sono soffermata e ho riflettuto sulla relazione che esiste tra la DETERMINAZIONE e la MOTIVAZIONE: io sono sempre stata una persona determinata nel lavoro e nella vita, ma ho capito che tutta la mia tenacia era guidata da una “ricompensa” che avrei avuto a “lavoro” terminato 🤷🏻♀️ In altre parole, la tenacia non era sorretta da una motivazione, da un REALE PERCHE’, ma da quella che, secondo me, era la ricompensa/lo scopo del lavoro: quando poi, quella ricompensa (ad es. economica) non arrivava, ecco che il lavoro che mi trovavo a svolgere risultava completamente privo di senso 😕 La mia generazione è cresciuta con una concezione del lavoro e della vita fatta di sacrifici, di doveri, di attenzione ossessiva al giudizio altrui e, se da una parte questo ha senso, dall’altra, se portato all’estremo, produce effetti molto dannosi perché non abitua ALL’ASCOLTO di se stessi 🤔 Ecco che, oggi, decido di COMPIERE UN ATTO DI FIDUCIA verso ciò che RITENGO DI MERITARE al fine di seguire la MIA motivazione, seppure già so che, per come sono io, sarà un lavoro in salita. Tuttavia, me lo devo e credo che tutti ce lo dovremmo! ❤️ Oggi ho imparato che la motivazione è qualcosa su cui è necessario lavorare OGNI GIORNO, sin da quando apriamo gli occhi e bisogna aggrapparsi ad essa stringendola forte a noi, vicino al CUORE, anche nei momenti più bui perché ci salverà ⚓️ E voi, avete individuato il vostro “perché”? This was the temperature in Kalgoorlie yesterday, Today I am working 2 hours further North at a remote mine site where it is possibly a degree or two hotter. So along with the normal challenges of keeping people safe, this site has to deal with additional hydration and heat stress complexities.
