Today we visited the koala hospital. This hospital treats sick, injured and orphaned koalas and rehabilitates them back into the wild if they are able to return. If not, they will stay at the sanctuary and be looked after permanently. The hospital is not government funded and relies on public donations and adoptions. We learnt alot about koalas and that they were close to being endangered not long ago.
