Zupancic & Boomer Phillips). Ces chasseurs de primes viennent à peine de mettre la main sur l’une de leurs cibles qu’ils ont déjà trouvé leur prochaine victime : Peter Wallace (Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll). Ce dernier ne leur opposera pas une grande résistance mais pour sauver sa peau il est prêt à leur donner un super tuyau qui leur rapporterait 100 000 dollars ! Hésitants au départ, ils acceptent le deal et se dirigent vers un salon de massage pour capturer Francis (Christian Bako). Là encore, après quelques coups échangés ils l’arrêtent mais ce faisant ils vont s’attirer quelques ennuis et la nuit s’annonce terriblement longue ! 🎬🎬🎬🎬🎬 Avis : On a là un film d’action typiquement américain d’abord par son sujet puisqu’on suit la soirée agitée d’une bande de 3 chasseurs de primes. Et puis il sera difficile de la louper, Trish Stratus n’est pas vraiment là pour ses talents de comédiennes mais plutôt pour le plaisir des yeux des spectateurs. Ses talents d’ancienne star du catch sont mis à profit jusqu’à un duel improbable mené en tenue d’écolière face à une adversaire déguisée en infirmière. Ne rigolez pas trop parce qu’il s’agit là d’une des meilleures scènes ! Working on #TheFightMachine during the pandemic meant that, instead of being in a fancy edit suite, we edited the film in director @andrew_t_hunt ’s kitchen, which was such a treat. Andrew would cook me lunch pretty much every day, always making me coffees, teas and all the best homemade snacks. I’d get daily dog cuddles from Willa and Bella, and Andrew’s home turned into a sweet little editing retreat, something I will dearly remember forever. SWEET KARMA (2009) A typical yet fun low-budget revenge thriller with a big surprise near the end; a good one in my opinion. Shera Bechard definitely stands out and delivers the performance which is more complex than just another seductive diversion from Playboy's model. Not bad for what it is or wants to be. The weakest element of the film, albeit not surprising, is Matteo DiMarr's electronic score which is usually overshadowed by songs as well as other dance music and only reaches the minimum requirement of low-budget film music with its drony and rhythmic patterns.
