The yin is said to be negative, dark and feminine. The yang is positive, bright and masculine. Their interaction is thought to maintain the harmony of the universe and to influence everything within it. "She's the yin to his yang." Something a little different from me this morning but I have ALWAYS wanted to try this. This yin-yang is super special to me, very dear to my heart as those beautiful colors making up that circle of yin and yang are my children's eyes. Each with their own distinct color, shape and design. My momma was creative with the spelling and I love her for it. GA born-FL raised I grew up hunting and fishing with my dad. God rest his soul 💙 My photography journey started with film in high school. I am an avid plant collector. 🪴 During the summer it takes me almost two hours to water them all. Lol I played softball my entire childhood. I also was on a cheer and dance team. I love to cook and recently got into baking. It’s therapeutic to me. The ocean is so fascinating to me. I wish I could live right on the beach in a Cracker Jack box. I’d be content. I had my first baby (Braydon) at the tender age of 19. And then my second (Landon) at 21. And my third and final baby (Delaney) came along at 34. It’s been a transition for our house hold for sure. But we wouldn’t have it any other way! Momma we need to talk… If you’re a mom who has not had a photo session because you’re worried how your child will be. Don’t! I’ll tell you my reasoning. However the mood of your baby is when we are together, I will play right along. Get down on their level. Your children may not be at their greatest mood when they see me. I’m a stranger after all. And that’s OK! It’s a luck of draw in all honesty! We like to think we have an idea of how they will act but then they can throw us off course. I have had moms tell me “he/she was perfect and happy all day today!” Only for their child to be in a not-so-great mood for the session. The worst thing you can do is get upset with them for being upset. In my 12 years of photographing i can tell you it only makes it worse. Giving them time is all you need, most of the time. Time to get them comfortable. Time to get to know me. Time for them to acclimate to where we are. I tell moms it’s either the FIRST 15 minutes OR the LAST 15 minutes where kids are the happiest! So when you book for an hour session try your best to not stress or worry mom. I got this!
