NOW That's What I Ate During My Spring Break Vol. II As Spring Break comes to an end 😭, I realized when it wasn't rainy, I actually took advantage to try a lot of new places and picked up some goodies to try! So underrated for a store-bought ramen but 1. This You Ni Yi Mian in the Scallion Oil flavors is so good if you like the numbing mild spicy. It's such a good base to throw bok choy and leftovers in. I think I ate it 3 days in a row, no joke. 2. The Vegetable Deluxe and the 3. Peking style pork chops at Boston Lobster were really good for the casual birthday lunch I had. I liked that the pork chops were not fatty and not too sour for sweet and sour if that makes sense and the veggies really balanced everything. 4. The poke place is always something I look forward to making the drive for and I always default to a spicy, shoyu, and this ginger salmon poke. I always pick up extra for leftovers! 5. The newest doughnut spot I visited has been on my radar forever! And I have to say the texture is so good. As a person, who isn't into sweets, I gravitate more towards unique flavors and 6. The Meyer lemon doughnut is definitely a favorite for a reason. The depth of flavor and the freshness of the doughnuts are evident and I love that it's made from sourdough and order to fried. 7. And lastly, the viral Cream Donut from @zionmarket...I can see why people like it. Please let me introduce you to my Imobu (Uncle in Korean, specifically husband to aunt on maternal side) who I refer to as Uncle Baker Chun on here. Imobu is a seasoned professional baker whose been serving Southern California with Korean pastries and cakes for nearly four decades. He used to own a successful bakery in the heart of Orange County — some of which you guys were loyal customers to. I asked him if he could teach me how to make Milk Cream Donuts, and without hesitation, he came over and taught me (AND taught me how to make crème brûlée donuts!) It took multiple tries as he had to adjust professional bakery amounts to home baking amounts. We finished this week after 5 rounds of testing to perfection. These are, hands down, one of the best pastries I’ve ever had. I got to share them with some of you guys (story viewers), and it made us really happy that you all loved them all. My mom was kind of sad I gave them all away because she wanted more LOL. I now understand why some pastries are pricey. There’s a lot of work and calculation behind these. Imobu told me Korean pastries are a bit more work too (he’s currently baking French pastries for work). Anywho. CHOCOLATE CREAM DONUTS I have been obsessed with donuts lately. It's easy to make, doesn't require lots of ingredients nor tools. Tastewise, amazing. The only downside is I can't save it for longer because they are best to consumed within a day. But well, a dozen of donuts won't last long tho 😄. This donut is filled with whipped cream / whipped ganache which is lighter than custard cream. Both is nice tho, but if you like something lighter, this cream filled donut might be your option. As you can see here, the ratio of donut to cream is 1:3 which I'm not complain 🤣. But eating them might be a disaster as it will burst out. I might need to control the cream amount next time 😄🫶.

دونات محشية مربى الفراوله وكريمة فانيلا رائعه 😍👌🏻☁️🍓 للمربى🍓 - كوبين فراوله مجمده (٣٠٠ غرام) - ربع كوب سكر عادي (٥٠ غرام) - بشر برتقاله (تعطي طعم لزيززز) في قدر على نار متوسطه الين تلين الفراوله وتثقل السوائل الي خرجت منها تقريباً (١٠ إلى ١٥ دقيقه) بعدها اطحنها واتركها على جنب الكريمة: - كوب كريمة خفق (٢٥٠ مل) - نص كوب سكر بودره (٥٠ غرام) - ملعقه صغيره فانيلا سائله - ثلث كوب جبنه كريميه اخلط الجبنه الكريميه اول بعدها اضيف بقية المكونات وبالخلاط الكهربائي الين يثقل قوام الكريمه اتركها في الثلاجه إلى وقت الحشو للعجينة: - ربع كوب سكر - كوب حليب دافي (٢٥٠ مل) - ملعقه كبيره خميره فوريه (١٥ غرام) أضيفهم على بعض وأتركهم ٥ دقايق الين تنفش الخميره بعدها أضيف - ٤ اكواب دقيق (٥٠٠غرام) - بيضه + صفار بيضه - ملعقه صغيره فانيلا - ملعقه صغيره ملح اعجنهم مع بعض الين تتكون عجينه متماسكه لينه آخر شي أضيف - ٦٠ غرام زبده في حرارة الغرفه اعجن في العجانة لمدة ١٠ دقايق على سرعه متوسطه اتركها تتخمر ساعه كامله الين يتضاعف حجمها بعدها افردها بسماكة نص انش وأقطعها دوائر فوق ورق زبده مربعات عشان يسهل أشيلها وقت القلي اتركها تتخمر نص ساعه زياده الين يتضاعف الحجم ويحمى الزيت على نار متوسطه على حرارة ٣٥٠ فهرنهايت (أقيسه بميزان الحراره) اقليها تقريبا دقيقتين على كل وجه الين تتحمر أول ما تخرج من الزيت اغطسها في سكر عادي اتركها تبرد واحشيها وبالعافيه ✨ ‏‎‏‎‏‎‏‎أكواد خصمي✨ ‏‎‏‎‏‎‏‎آيهيرب🌱 AZZ9838 ‏‎‏‎‏‎‏‎ ترنديول 🧡 SARAX ‏‎‏‎‏‎‏‎‏‎ #اكسبلور #اكسبلور_فولو #اكسبلور_explore #الدمام #jeddah #جدة #السعوديه #saudiarabia #reelsinstagram #explore #viral #foodie #foodblogger #stuffeddonuts #donuts #creamdonut #jellydonut #homemadejam #filleddonuts
